    Outside of moving pca to leadoff, it wasn't even much of a shuffle, he just dropped Hoerner and Suzuki a couple spots and flipped Busch and Bregman 🙄

    Who had Rea looking like a SP from the past going 7 innings with 3 runs.. Awesome game today and only needed Swanson once today, with his 4 ground outs 🤷🙄 lol

    If not full, they will play eventually. Way too much money to leave on the table for both sides to sit out the whole season

    Right, nobody expected them to continue playing 870 baseball, but to follow that up with going 2-10 if they end up losing this one is nuts. It not like teams are just playing better and beating them, the Cubs have just plain sucked with both pitching and mostly hitting the last 2 weeks. You finally get a good outing from Rea today and the bats continue to look like crap getting shutout.

    Too late for this season, but for next season, unless trades are made to move guys under contract, they have 3 spots they can make changes to, DH LF and RF.

    Pitching injuries finally caught up to them , as the depth has shown to be awful. The offense as a whole, along with some individuals is a bit of a surprise to be as bad as it been. They have some good hitters, they just dont have guys who can carry them or step up when needed.

    I know I've seen him challenge once or twice but it seems like Suzuki doesn't do it as often as he should.

    Agree. With losing a game like that, and the little shakeup today with both adding new guys from Iowa and order change, hopefully it gets these guys to get a little sense of urgency in them and start playing better.

    Now watch like what happened with Happ last week after my comment about him, Swanson will get 3 hits a home run and make the game saving play at Short today So everyone can can say good thing he wasn't benched 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    That awesome, theres thousands and thousands of cubs fans, not everyone going to share the same thoughts. So, maybe today your answer could be the wrong answer or are you always right 🤷 Just like not every single one of Counsell or any managers decision is the correct one 🙄

    Lmao, youre the one turning it into something more than what it is by bringing GB statistics into it. The whole point is, the worse hitter in the lineup overall is Swanson, if Counsell gonna shake the lineup up , might as well start with removing the worse hitter from it. Not every groundball is hit to short, and Rea barely makes it to the 5th inning, so we're talking maybe a handful or so balls might go that way today with Rea on the mound. I have full confidence in Nico that he could of handled it. The oversight for Counsell is that he has a struggling lineup, he said himself there would be a change, and the only change made was removing Happ, so I guess he feels Happ isnt having his best season ever with the bat right now. Moving PCA to leadoff and dropping Nico and Suzuki a couple spots isnt exactly a bold move to the order, it a different look, but if he were going to be bold, he would of benched Swanson too. Not everything has to be about statistics, sometimes you just need to be bold for a couple games to shake things up.
