Be cool to see the bats get to Skubal and all, but it would be even cooler to see Brown have a quality start tonight.

They currently have 2 starters now that they're using an opener for, so if they can add a TOR type SP before the break that can take pressure off the bullpen now and provide a solid 1-2 punch with Imanaga when he returns why not jump on it.

I know they're almost there in a way with the challenges but I personally feel that should be enough to make sure calls are being made right. Not saying most of these umps havent been terrible but I guess im more for keeping some human elements in the game with the umps, I do like the challenge system they have for balls and strikes, maybe if that implemented these umps will be forced to do better behind the plate.

Won't ever happen, if they did that then there would be no need for umpires in the game. Theyll just have 4 guys standing out there with an ear piece giving the calls.

It gonna be one of those games isn't it ? Bases loaded no outs in first, don't score, then get shutdown the rest of game. Boyd looks untouchable the whole game, gives up a solo shot that barely made it out and that the winner. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
