  1. I saw him a couple times, but yea he hasn't been there much
  2. Busch eventually gets into these games when starter goes out. 🤷‍♂️ But I agree, he should of gotten at least one start here.
  3. Hopefully the bullpen won't be much of a factor these 3 games and Counsell could just use guys that need to get some work in, and they can keep the main guys fresh for the Reds this weekend.
  4. These are the games/teams that can be dangerous if you let up on them and don't bury them quickly. Be cool to outscore them by 30 in this series 😅
  5. Difference between Cohen and Boog is that Boog likes to talk about stats and weird horsefeathers, and Cohen is just being a fan of the team and game. so if you like to hear about different stats throughout the game over just talking mostly about the game you'll enjoy boog more. As far as JD goes, yea I think he's getting bored with commentating and probably ready to move on, as to why he seems to be taking more games off.
  6. Yea, it like sitting with your buddies or whomever watching on TV and cussing them out when they look bad, all long time true fans of teams go through those emotions 😅🤣
  7. I get that, I don't normally listen to radio calls nowadays so it won't affect me, but yea it'll probably be like going from Harry to Chip😅 for those of you who do listen to Pat most of season. Stone couldn't even save Chip lol
  8. Cohen is good, I like him when he doing Iowa games. Cubs fans been spoiled since Brickhouse, then Harry, and Len, also with Pat on radio. We're not used to new guys, I know Chip 🙄, but he was supposed to share time with Harry in the booth before he died. Cohen a rookie at this job getting his feet wet the last 2 years, he'll be good as he gets more comfortable calling games. I personally prefer him over Boog. I think theyre grooming him to take over for Boog who could end up moving to the network that takes over games from ESPN next season or elsewhere. Boog a national guy who has been imo pretty dry calling Cubs games and only gets excited when he talks to TMac and cites his love for those baseball stats and gym shoes. Cohen been calling Iowa games the last couple years, he has grown with some of the current young players, so yeah he naturally gets excited for them and tries to hype them even when they're doing bad but that because he has seen them excell to being a top prospect at the minor league level and feels they're better then what they are showing, like Brown for instance. Cohen to me feels more like he a fan of the team calling games, getting excited and all, while Boog seems like he's just doing his job. Yea, I think the Cubs are preparing to move forward in the booth and they're likely gonna go with Cohen who knows these current and soon to be young players coming up from Iowa.
  9. Wow, Big W We have a closer 2 game Sunday streak 😅
  10. McGuire gonna get another AB for a chance at 3 dingers
  11. Alot, I think with the way they've been hitting as a team and with Tucker who is known and PCA who is becoming a star, they're getting recognized nationally now.
  12. Been a fan since late 70s, can't remember a cubs team that put up runs like this team has been doing consistently the first 2 months of season, with multiple guys contributing. Who would of thought after 50 games in that PCA and Zuki would have close to 50 RBI each and leading the league 😅
  13. Lol... He's definitely having one of those games 2 Homers and the second was a big one New game
  14. Id like to see how he can do coming out of the pen the rest of season after Imanaga returns, he might be affective for an inning or two, maybe even once through an order if needed. In off season work on that 3rd pitch for him, and control, and see if that can help keep him in the rotation going forward.
  15. Likely with 2 outs in the 9th and McGuire will be up 😅
  16. Problem with a couple of these guys, they have short hot streaks and long cold streaks.
  17. Saw him limping heading to dugout after he scored, should of been on 3rd there
