  1. This is how i feel, if Hoyer has another move to make and can go over id like it to be on a guy like Tauchman. Good LH veteran bat that could fill in well for a few games if needed, and give Suzuki and even Happ days off against RHers. Alcantara has one option left according to fangraphs
  2. I hope so, I can live with Suzuki Mo and Alcantara but I'd rather not go into a season that has deep playoff run potential, with two (Mo and Alcantara) bats that could potentially be unproductive in that trio merry go round.
  3. Who were you more excited about getting? Tucker last year or Bregman this year
  4. I see with Bregman theyre about 700K under the Threshold. Im hoping they have decided to just go over it this year and have one more solid addition. I like Alcantara but would love to see them add Tauchman or someone like him, a good veteran who can play all 3 positions and would be productive if needed to start a few games due to injuries. I just hope theyre not going to go the stupid cheap we gotta stay under the Threshold route by trading Nico 12 mil for a prospect, just to be 10+ mil under going into the season, and then penny pinch or do nothing at the deadline because 10 mil not all that much to get a decent needed upgrade in a trade, which would likely be a middle infielder to play 2B because Shaw not hacking it as an everyday guy there, or a productive bat to DH/RFer cause Mo been inconsistent.
  5. I wouldn't mind seeing them add Tauchman, a veteran guy who can play all 3 OF spots and if needed in case of an injury would be comfortable with plugging in a spot for however long needed.
  6. I dont feel like theyre gonna trade Nico, that would be a backwards move with the lineup and weakens it alot.
  7. So does that mean only 21 is going towards the luxury tax ? That would put it exactly where we thought they'd offer up the most for someone if the plan was to stay under( approx. 12 under) and save some for inseason moves
  8. Theyre already over, why not bring in Bellinger now and really make a splash
  9. Maybe they just envision Bregman eventually being the DH in 2-3 years, just hope hes still hitting with power.
  10. So that should put them over the threshold no? If so just sign Tucker or Bellinger now..lol
  11. That defense just sucks the life out of you, they suck so bad.
  12. Holy horsefeathers 5/175 and of course a full no trade clause
  13. No, He was seeing her same time he was married and actually had a baby girl with girlfriend 3 months after his son was born to wife.
  14. Just saw both Ross and Zobrist will be at convention
  15. It took Ricketts a day and forever to bring Sosa back, let just hope they've been aware of what Russell been doing to better himself as a human. Glancing at his Instagram just now, he has current photos of himself with wife and their 2 kids.
  16. Or Ross.... There's a couple guys im surprise aren't on list, maybe they just had other commitments. Wonder if Ross is sore about being fired 😏
  17. Exactly, he did a scumbag thing but we dont know what hes been doing the last 7 years to help better himself as a person and how things are going now between him and his Ex and son. It could just be a one time thing with the organization where he only participate in a 2016 team reunion and yes he was a huge part of that postseason run getting some big hits, especially in game 5 NLCS and Game 6 World Series.
  18. I was just saying between the two i would prefer offering Bichette the years and it would cost less overall, and Bichette also 4 years younger. If they can get Bichette for 4 years that would be awesome too, if he wants to test FA again.
  19. He hasn't accepted Boston 6/170 offer yet, so One would think Bregman looking for at least 180 with the 6 years, id be shocked if Ricketts allows Hoyer to offer a 32 yo 6 yrs and 180. They could probably get Bichette with a 6 year offer well under 180, and hes 28. It would be nice to know how close to 244 theyre going or if theyre actually going over. Bichette and someone like Tauchman would be good if they plan on staying under, and have approximately 35 to spend.
  20. Gotcha, yea i dream sometimes, just dont post it much lol Yea I've suggested trading Happ and Suzuki because I dont think either will be extended and figure why not try and get something of value for them over just letting them walk, and just play Caissie or Mo in their place. it not cause I think they'd automatically be just as good or better right off the bat.
  21. I dont think they'd do it, just saying they can if Ricketts would allow Hoyer to go over, but we know it wont happen.
  22. First, what i wish they'd do and think theyll do are two different things. Second, I dont ever recall saying bring up random prospects because theyll automatically be as good as Happ and Suzuki. You'll have to show me that post if you want a reason why I posted that if I did. Third, obviously we know it wouldn't happen, theres alot of stuff on here being posted that we all know wont happen, that why I said if Ricketts would and they could get two of them, not that they will or should. we can wish for something to happen but likely wont, like Ricketts opening up his wallet and do something that not overly crazy, or make actual suggestions of what they might do.
