Off Topic - LCD, LED, Plasma....what's your preference

What kind of time frame are we talking here? For $599 it might be worth it. -
Started seriously looking into TV's this past weekend. Time to upgrade from the 27" tube. 8-[ I really liked the Samsung 51" Plasma, 720p, 600hz. I think I have it down between the LCD and Plamsa but what was wondering what you guys have/like. I've heard/read that the Plasma is best for sports/action movies. Also is it worth the extra $50-$100 to go with 1080p? Thanks!

agreed. anyone have a problem with just stating darvish and cespedes are eligible for the major league draft? and they can be put in your minors if they, for some reason, don't break camp with the team? I have no problem with this.

i have no idea where the one on the eyes of texas' roster came from. from what i can tell, he was added by bazingas on 03/27/10, traded to my team (when i wasn't the owner) on 04/02/10, traded to NC Cubs on 05/30/10 for kendrys morales, traded to tim's team for josh hamilton on 10/17/10, then traded to my team last year in the halladay deal. there's no record in the transactions log of shelby miller or the eyes of texas. That should be the real Shelby Miller. There is a thread somewhere on here about it.

No worries Jeff. I took over a crap team 2 years ago that had made a bunch of trades and went for it all the year before. I had crap prospects and not enough exempt players not to mention no #1 pick in either draft that first year. When I took over I made some moves to improve for the future and finished 6-16 my first year but was competitive. Last season I finished 16-6 and made it to the title game.

Start and Finish? Yep. Major League and Prospect? Yep again. That might be better than green beer and corned beef and cabbage. I would prefer sticking with an extended draft. I think with 16 teams it's too difficult to get everyone together. Plus I can tell you now I would not be able to make this date.

AJ Cole is the diamond in this deal. Norris may be a HR threat at catcher but last season hit .210 and has only hit .249 during his minor league career. The HR won't come as easily at Oakland Co Coliseum. Milone should be a decent 3-4 starter but his stuff in last season's 5 starts ML debut did not impress (plus he is about 6 months older than Gio). Peacock has had one good season in the minors so I am not sold on him. A decent haul for the A's but I don't think it's as good as it looks on the surface. -
