  1. Just lost Hamels start to the DL so I picked up Nova to replace it.
  2. Yep; last I read it could make landfall anywhere from Florida to North Carolina, then track up the East coast. I haven't paid that much attention to the schedule, but places like Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston could be affected. ETA: Depending on where it does make landfall Florida and Atlanta could be affected as well. Current projection shows it would make landfall on Saturday so Saturday night and Sunday games may very well be rained out. Keeping my fingers crossed that Florida remains out of the cone (as of 11am projection). http://www.skeetobiteweather.com/archive/forecast/AL092011lts.gif?318440923 http://i.imwx.com/images/maps/truvu/map_specnews15_ltst_4namus_enus_600x338.jpg
  3. Hurricane Irene could have a big impact on this weekend's games on the East coast.
  4. I was having trouble last night. Not just our league but all of CBS Sports.
  5. From worst to first baby!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  6. I think you have to have H2H as your 1st tie-breaker in a H2H league. That only makes sense otherwise what would be the point of playing a H2H league?
  7. I would go Rendon depending on your needs. BTW, I was in your shoes last season and traded both picks to Tim. :-"
  8. Cheap keeper for a 2012 comeback year.
  9. Yeah but you'll be the first team in league history to pick first in the second round the year after not making the playoffs.
  10. At least you're mediocre somewhere. 8-[
  11. I'll take comfort in the fact that I was tied for 3rd with +31 HR since the last update.
  12. The next two weeks are huge for me with matchups against Tootie and Sanitizers.
  13. WTF?!? Raw has gotten 70 points from two starts this week while his offense has only scored 48 points. :banghead:
  14. Picked up Phil Hughes and released Joe Nathan to make room. Placed Ryan Madson in my starting lineup to replace Nathan.
  15. Your pitching couldn't have done that last week?!?
  16. We did not do this last season.
  17. Do you have to keep bringing this up? :banghead:
  18. After acquiring Michael Young in trade, placed him at 2B and dropped A.Hill.
  19. <>
  20. Aren't there supposed to be 22 weeks to our regular season? The league schedule right now only shows 21.
  21. Wrong league. #-o LOL...not wrong league, maybe did not explain it well. IIRC, we get 2000 points - most of my non exempt player I want to keep do not have much points plus I will not be keeping many of them since I have exempt players; meaning, if a manager has a player with 800 points and can't and will not keep the player, I can offer a draft pick and/or non-exempt player. For example, I traded Halladay last year because I could not afford to keep him and got Travis Snider - lopsided trade against me but it allowed me to keep more players (quantity over quality strategy which did not help me this year). Ah....got it.
  22. Wrong league. #-o
  23. DeLaRosa, Duffy, Niese, Romero, Nicasio, Chapman, Hudson all have one, or more, years of exemption. While my exemption list is not that impressive (Stanton, Lyles, Venters, Thames, J.Zimmerman) off years by Pujols and a long stint on the DL by R.Zimmerman should allow me to keep a decent amount of talent (Pujols, R.Zimmerman, G.Gonzalez, F.Hernandez).
  24. Amen!
