Tim, you just picked up Leonys Martin but he was only just signed by the Rangers back in May. I don't believe you can pick him up as a FA.

Michael Morse has been out of the lineup since the first game of a DH on Saturday. He has a hairline fracture and could land on the DL. I have replaced him in the lineup with Eric Thames.

You are right, and I apologize for that. I didn't have a secret agenda. I spelled it all out. If anyone is opposed, I'll change it back. I wanted to institute it at the beginning of the new scoring period. If I don't, I'll be without a Utility player all week. As my punishment for implementing the rule so quickly, I'll happily relinquish my commish powers to someone else. ETA: Also, the proposal was made on a day where nearly ever manager will check in while making roster changes for the next week and such. I wasn't suggesting that you had. Just pointing out that maybe there should be some sort of time allotment from when a rule change goes from proposed to implemented. Not asking you to relinquish your commissioner duties nor was my post meant as an attack on you. I think you're doing a fine job. Believe me I know this job is not an easy or rewarding one especially when dealing with 15 other personalities.

I don't have an issue with the change but it did come on rather quickly. You just posted a proposal yesterday (Sunday) at 3:00pm est and then the rule is changed within 24 hours of said proposal. That doesn't allow alot of time for people to respond especially coming off a weekend when people may be out of town or doing family things.

I think you've done quite a nice job.. However, toward the end of the year, I'd recommend taking on some big names with points that you can apply to the cap. Your team is looking like a 100% exempt team with no superstars, which won't win you anything. You'll need to trade some of those guys for keeper points at the end of the year. I'm talking for players like for instance, Pujols, Adrian Gonzalez, etc. Those are the guys that when added to a core of exempt guys like you have will do you wonders. Just my advice, but you may not want to take it. I"ve played in 2 or 3 championships and have yet to win one. This is similar to what I did last year. I took over a team, made some moves to improve my future, finished with the worst record at 6-16 and then traded my 1st round pick in both drafts along with Cano for Pujols and King Felix. I made some other smaller moves as well and I'm now 9-2 in just the next season.
