i think they're playing way better than they did against USA. they look unbelievable right now My point was that Canada didn't play poorly against the US. They were on the attack most of the game. I guess you could say that they must be playing better because everyone considered Russia a better team than the US going into this tournament and they are getting manhandled by them while the US won. well they def didnt play poorly against USA (they outplayed us pretty badly), but they didn't look like this. they look way more crisp and are flying all over the place.

Shouldn't you expect your supposedly world class goaltender to do more than not give up bad goals? yeah, this is an elimination game and you have a really good goalie ready to step in. there's no way nabi should have been given a 4 goal leash. the 4th goal was enormous, and it should have never happened.

the second one was pretty soft. i only saw the 3rd goal once (and you cant really blame a goalie on a breakaway goal), but he was flopping around on that one too.

maybe its not as much that i'm worried about them not being able to fire him as them just choosing not to. i could see the bulls finishing with around 45 wins and them choosing to stick with him. he should have been gone sooo long ago.

when a team collapses like this as often as the bulls do (and against crap teams), most of the blame has to go on the coach. i really think the bulls screwed up badly by not pulling the trigger on firing VDN earlier in the season when he was all but gone. now theyre on a run so you can't fire him, even though he clearly is still an atrocious coach. what happens if the bulls continue to play well and finish the season like 45-37, followed by one of the big FAs signing here? will they be able to fire VDN despite the big second half. i just dont want to see the bulls have this great roster next season and be held back by a clueless coach.
