  1. fair enough. i did say multiple goals though. are there stats on that?
  2. not game thread whining. i've said it before. maybe early in the game not so much, but i'd like to see how many times this team has come back late in the game.
  3. the first 2 goals for NY were off TERRIBLE turnovers from seabrook and then johnsson and i've said this before, but i don't like how this team packs it in when they go down multiple goals. with the high scoring offense we have, you'd think they'd be able to come back from 2 or 3 down pretty easily,. but they don't. they fold. very concerning. Actually, on the contrary, they've shown repeatedly they can come back from almost any deficit. yep they've shown they can. they just don't do it very often, especially late in the game.
  4. man, this game has contained all the annoying parts of the hawks this season. bad turnovers, horrible goaltending, and now a piece of [expletive] goalie standing on his head. 39 shots on roloson and only 2 goals? GTFO

  6. early in the year huet was on one of his streaks where he's not bad, and niemi was playing great. now huet is on one of his lenghthy slides and niemi is back down to earth. seems like he was a product of small sample size. he's been hot garbage since they started trying to give him more playing time. q looked completely disgusted when he pulled niemi early in the 2nd. i have a feeling we're going to get a goalie, but not a very good one. maybe a stiff like turco or something, which still might be better than what we have.
  7. not as bad as our goalies
  8. this is embarrassing. another game completely flipped by horrible goaltending. we completely dominated them inb the first period, but 4 soft goals have completely taken the hawks legs away and are now getting outplayed by a garbage team that has gained confidence. make a trade for a goalie by tomorrow or this is going to be a wasted season, period.
  9. lol and now another one edit: and now niemi gets the hook. what a nightmare goalie situation
  10. 2 goals for the islanders on 2 awful, awful turnovers and another questionable goal from niemi. jesus.
  11. hawks looked amazing in the 1st
  12. 21 shots already for the hawks and there's still 5 minutes left in the 1st
  13. good lord our goalies suck ass and wtg seabrook
  14. you're saying that an nba player smokes weed?
  15. yeah, fighting had nothing to do with it. it seems like casual fans think that there are a ton of fights every game or something. there aren't. it felt different because of lack of commercials
  16. And what each demands after the year in terms of money and years for a contract. which will be based on how they each perform this season
  17. unless he has problems with his shoulder
  18. yeah, they didn't have those 2 guys last year and they were atrocious
  19. and the joke only made sense if he did think ironic was the correct word
  20. it will all depend on how they each perform this season.
  21. i'm sure bradley was a dick to the media, and he had pretty good reason to be. i'm not saying bradley isn't to blame or anything like that, but of course he was a dick to the media. i would have been too. they'd rip him non stop and then wonder why he wasn't nice to them after the games.
  22. i also like the pressure that toews/seabrook/keith were under during these olympics. they HAD to win the gold. i'd think that any pressure they might face in the nhl playoffs won't even compare to the pressure they faced here.
  23. yeah but so do the canucks (both sedins, kesler, luongo, etc) and the sharks (heatley/marleau/thornton/boyle/nabakov/pavelski), and those are really the only 2 teams i'm worried about from the west.
  24. you said that the media was getting revenge. revenge for what? it was the media that went after bradley hard, not the other way around. the media didn't get enough when they trashed bradley for 6+ months? they need to get more shots in on him now after he's gone? actually, bradley is the one who has taken the high road since he got traded. i haven't heard a single thing come out of his mouth about anything related to the cubs or the media since he was traded. meanwhile, chicago media and stupid cubs fans are still taking shots at him constantly for no reason. i'm not a bradley fan at all, but it's just sad at this point. the dude is gone.
  25. i find it really hard to believe that a 59 game stretch could have significantly effected a player's development. it's 2 months.
