  1. He was rather ordinary, which isn't going to cut it with these rosters. yeah... not all those goals were his fault of course, but he didn't look very good the entire game. he was out of position and flopping around quite a bit
  2. pretty amazing that they held them off in the 3rd despite the refs being on canada's side miller was amazing, brodeur looked pretty terrible
  3. niedermeyer should have gotten a penalty on that. it was wayyyyyy after the whistle and he basically grabbed him and slammed him into the boards
  4. im a few minutes late, but lololol @ brodeur. i loved the straight on slo mo angle that showed his move his skate to open the hole right before the puck got there.
  5. why is this game only on msnbc? what the [expletive]
  6. i dont think even bode cares that he won gold. he's just there to party on the olympic level dude
  7. so the usa men's curling team is pretty much eliminated, and it's on a game that they lost because of greediness and stupidity america, [expletive] yeah
  8. cool story
  9. annnnd usa curling continues to choke hard. what a disastrous shot. this is basically a must win and now theyre in a hole instead of being up
  10. It kinda is. It was never intended to be earthshattering. I just found it funny that the guy many of us are hoping to be the next star SS for the Cubs is already amongst the current, heavily paid stars in some way. It's just for fun, dex. i wasnt talking about your posts
  11. shuster is such a dick calls out his teammate repeatedly for a bad shot and then makes one himself
  12. shouldn't sulley have commited suicide by now?
  13. this thread is painful
  14. are you sure that's even the same brett jackson? either way, every tweet is just a random cheesy quote. i hope it's not him.
  15. fontenot's quote regarding theriot's quote on a potential move to 2b:
  16. ovechkin shoots in the shootout for the second straight time and the 3rd in 6 rounds such a stupid rule
  17. damn, if zdeno connected on that pass it was game over
  18. so derwood's opinion doesn't matter, but apparently redflash's opinion is going to determine where lbj goes this offseason
  19. rabble rabble nick saban rabble rabble spousal abuse rabble rabble racism rabble
  20. yeah it's become pretty apparent that by "lebron is not going to NY", redflash is really just saying "i really hope he doesn't go to ny"
  21. Mike, as much as I have no love for Cleveland, I have less love for New York. It's bad enough that "The Raptist" headlines LA, we don't need LBJ headlining NY. I rather LBJ stay in Cleveland and the Bulls have to face him 4 times a year, instead of him going to NY. you need to recognize the difference between "i hate new york" and "everyone in the world hates new york"
  22. No, no, no we are not having this ridiculous conversation again. With the amount of money Lebron is making, he can have house is every friggin' state if he wants to. So living in NY (no matter how great NY is  ) does not equate to LBJ leaving Cleveland for NY, at least professional. LBJ will stay in Cleveland and nothing will change with his marketing. just not sure why you keep trying to keep passing your (realitvely uninformed) opinion off as a fast. you have no idea where lebron is going. none of us do. and yes, lebron will be bigger in NY.
  23. you have absolutely no idea if that's true or not it's true. redflash doesn't see the appeal of new york, so there's no way lebron goes there. seriously, though, don't the 07-08 celtics kind of provide a model for free agents thinking about new york? that team went from pretty damn bad to a championship winner with the addition of two superstars. they had what was thought to be a thin supporting cast going into the season. granted, they had pierce in place before they traded for allen and garnett, but they pretty much showed how quickly a couple stars can turn a bad team around. i don't doubt that lebron believes that he and a fellow superstar can perform a similar feat and go to new york and turn their franchise around. not to mention lebron has already shown that he by himself can take a bunch of nobodies and turn them into an elite team
  24. you have absolutely no idea if that's true or not I didn't mean to stat as fact, but call it reasonable deduction. Cleveland in the ECF/NBA Finals > playing at MSG. a) lebron+another good free agent pick up in new york would probably mean they are suddenly in the ecf b) living in NY >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> living in cleveland
