that was the worst period of the season. worse than the 3rd period against minnesota even. kopecky should be benched for that garbage. not only does he suck ass, but he can't even take a clean hit without acting like a bitch and taking a stupid penalty to kill the team even more. oh, and lol at the stupid atlanta announcers calling the hawks (and toews specifically) "whiny". this after they were asking for a diving call on sharp when he got tripped.

this is [expletive] pathetic. the thrashers showed in the first that they had no business skating with the hawks, yet they let them right back in the game. quenneville needs to start earning his paycheck, because this team is coming out with complacency WAY too often

I had read that datsyuk was going to center Ovechkin and Semin, but that was several months ago. Olympic hockey does not start until next weekend...all nhlers will still play through tomorrow nah, olympic hockey for men starts tuesday

i can see your logic, but i feel like chicago is an attractive enough destination that we shouldnt have a problem landing 2 big guys this offseason if we have the resources and are serious about it. i just really don't like amare at all, and i think it's worth the risk to just wait and go hard after one or 2 guys this offseason.

i recently read quotes from amare saying how theres a good chance he wont even opt out this offseason and instead wait until the next year when there arent as many free agents. amare would be like 5th on my list of upcoming FAs. behind lebron/wade/bosh/boozer forget about amare and focus on getting expirings

yeah, padding wouldn't have done anything. they said he was going 88 when he flew off the course. when you go from 88 mph to a dead stop that quickly, it doesn't matter how soft the surface is. i just cant believe how terrible the design is. seriously, big metal poles? that should not have happened.
