  1. this is some uggggllllyyy stuff. the crowd is so dead that you can literally hear individual people booing.
  2. oh please pleeease pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
  3. ive heard this before and i dont really understand where it comes from mauer morneau kubel span cuddyer ...are all good hitters, and if hardy puts up his 07-08 numbers, he's another. the twins scored the 5th most runs in all of baseball last year. they are a good offensive team.
  4. anybody else notice that cam barker looks like john cusack?
  5. i'd have rather had harden than grabow/nady, but whatever. not a bad deal.
  6. you mean the oilers zone, but eah... that was pretty awesome
  7. amazingly well? he hits a bunch of singles 2009 vs RHP - .291/.344/.360 2008 vs RHP - .298/.355/.413 2006 vs RHP - .292/.339/.399 fontenot has a career OPS of like 35 points higher than inglett Say what you want, but for $500,000 a year, I would be very happy with those numbers for my left-handed #2 hitter against RHPs. Mike Fontenot might hit .236/.301/.377 again (last year's numbers) and get paid twice that. he also might be wayyyy better than inglett

  9. all these old players need to just shut up. it's like one of them spoke so now they all think their opinion is important
  10. They didn't wipe the floor. Chicago was in it until the end. The yardage isn't that meaningful, since that was essentially what the Bears were designed to do, give up yards but not the big play. lol wat Bend but don't break. The Bears led the NFL in turnovers (or was it turnover margin, or both?) in 05 and 06. yeah, but i dont see how you can ever say that "yardage isn't that meaningful". that's crazy. or that the bears were "designed to give up yards". no. maybe you could say they were designed to force turnovers BECAUSE they gave up a lot of yards. i dont really get how it's okay to give up a lot of yardage, as long as you stay away from the big play. most times, an 80 yards TD drive that takes 12 plays is no different than an 80 yard touchdown pass
