the whistle rule might be the dumbest in all of sports. there's absolutely no reason they shouldnt be able to review that and call it correctly as a goal
this game is the difference between a great road trip and a good road trip would be a very disappointing loss, especially considering all the chances we've had. and it's not like ward is standing on his head either. the hawks are just not finishing.
i always worry about these types of games. just came off an intense and antipated matchup, last game of the trip, etc. it's easy to have a letdown in trap games like these.
I mentioned this in another thread. guys always seem to want to be a Cub, Yankee, Red Sox, or Dodger, and coincidentally, these teams are all known for spending money freely. my mind is blown
Madden scored on this road trip. I've seen the pictures. I wouldn't consider those scores worth any points, though. i agree. they still count towards your plus/minus though.
so the hawks have accounted for 20% of the sharks home losses over the past season and a half, and they aren't even in the same division. pretty awesome
also, wins like these (on the road against a good team, blowing a big early lead) are big confidence builders. the sharks beat us up pretty badly for most of the game tonight, but the hawks found a way to sack up at the end and get the W
yup, and i would have been content with 5-3. if they handle business against carolina they'll go 6-2, which is pretty [expletive] badass It's nuts because the Hawks certainly haven't played their best hockey on this trip. But 6-2 says otherwise. i have a feeling that after the break they're going to come back refreshed and return to their dominant ways
