Because he never was able to grab him? he definitely hooked the defender's right arm. check the replay. I did, he reaches and misses right before the ball gets there. He might've hooked him before, but it didn't impact the ball hitting him in the chest without Rice touching him. clearly i'm watching a different feed than you are. he must not have seen the angle we're talking about. from the last replay they showed you couldnt see it, but the one they showed before it was pretty conclusive

He might've hooked him before, but it didn't impact the ball hitting him in the chest without Rice touching him. you must not be seeing the correct angle, because i just rewinded it and it was extremely obvious that he hooked the arm and pulled it back. it wasn't even close
