well i dont think anyone thought it was over, but there was reason to be very confident, considering the hawks have dominated the sharks pretty much every time they've met this season (even in the game they lost)

I started doubting after the recent stretch if the Hawks were the best team in the West. I was hoping this game would be a barometer. The first 10 minutes of the game looked very promising. The rest of the game has been anything but. But we are on the road and haven't been home for like 2 1/2 weeks. Also San Jose is probably the toughest place to play in hockey. if for no other reason, san jose is better because they have a good goalie.

Ridiculous criticism. Huet has been very good this game. Screens happen -- particularly that play. it would be ridiculous criticism if huet wasn't losing pucks at a ridiculous rate all season. i understand losing the puck sometimes, but he's been losing it WAY too much. even pat and eddie were talking about it the other dat.

I mean it wasn't great but he was in position to make a save until Hossa's skate deflected it. that puck was slow moving and the deflection off hossa's skate was far enough away where he should have been able to react if he saw it. he didn't see the puck, period. i dont know what his deal is with that, but all season he's had trouble seeing the puck.
