It wasn't pretty, it was a game we grinded out, despite not converting on a lot of our chances. Our game winning goal was a deflection off a skate...it was one of those kind of games. no i agree that there were parts of the game (especially after the hawks took the 2-1 lead) where calgary was pushing hard and the hawks were back on the heels, i just think you're selling them a little bit short overall. i thought they played outstanding. but yeah, you should seen kiprusoff in the first 30 or so minutes of the game. he was insane. he robbed madden alone 3 times point blank. he's the only reason they were still in the game in the second half.

why wasn't it pretty? i think you're underestimating how well they played tonight. it was a very pretty win. they dominated them for the majority of the game and the only reason the game was close was kiprusoff standing on his head for the first 2 periods. niemi was also very, very good.

it wasn't fatigue that was the problem though. they outskated the sens and controlled the puck more. they lost because of sloppy play and bad goaltending.
