  1. so we go from "sucking HARD" to it being "very possible" that we win a title
  2. wow, horrible so far in the second. a couple of badddddd turnovers
  3. so you think sheets or bedard could take us from a team that "sucks HARD" to a team that can make the playoffs? no, never said that. you pretty much did. you're saying we'll suck hard without sheets/bedard, but if we sign one of them we suddenly have a chance.
  4. random hill, random pole, stupid porch, stupid ass train, etc. it's the biggest disgrace in the history of stadiums. craig biggio loved it though.
  5. dude, its hard to stay healthy all year when you're the hitting coach of a major league team. he's just trying to help the club.
  6. i just realized that mark mcgwire is also james hetfield
  7. i think they look good. they should probably have like 3 goals
  8. does byfuglien have the yips or something? i cant believe how often he misses the net
  9. over under on peyton's picks per game in this postseason? 2?
  10. He hasn't made the dumb mistakes this year. You need to watch more hockey me thinks DM said he's been better than last year. He does still make mistakes, but I have to say I've seen Seabrook make more bad plays this year than Campbell. you think so? i haven't really noticed that, but i haven't been paying heavy attention to seabrook. i've noticed that keith has been turning the puck over a lot more than usual though.
  11. He hasn't made the dumb mistakes this year. You need to watch more hockey me thinks brb guys, gotta go watch the lightning/panthers game to get a better perspective on why campbell still turns the puck over too much like i said though, he's been good this year and a lot better than last. i'm just saying that he still does it quite a bit.
  12. that picture is definitely conclusive
  13. so you think sheets or bedard could take us from a team that "sucks HARD" to a team that can make the playoffs?
  14. screw you guys, mark grace is awesome.
  15. I was for getting rid of the GM who we all knew would target pure garbage in order to get rid of a cheap, productive player. But, alas we couldn't do that. Bradley was traded for reasons wholly unrelated to his cost or productivity. Not sure why you're glossing over this small detail. Not to derail the thread with another team chemistry debate, but did anybody read Shark's comments regarding Bradley? He said something to the effect of prior to last year he didn't believe that team chemistry was important at all. samardzija just needs to go the [expletive] away
  16. i won't argue that he's not a good offensive d-man. that's never been an issue. the issue is how much of that value he gives back with his loose defense and constant horrible turnovers. he has been a lot better this season than last, though.
  17. false harden is also 3 years younger Ha, Ha. You actually believe that Rich Harden is as good as Ben Sheets i tend to believe the truth
  18. the producer has been suspended indeifnitely http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4820756
  19. So you're saying the Hawks have a thin blue line, but they should deal Campbell? I'm not sure I see your logic... Campbell's having an All Star-caliber season. Moving him would not only hurt the depth more than moving two 3rd-line guys, but it would be nearly impossible to replace his value on the ice. Also, if you look at the Hawks' prospects, they have to top-shelf defenseman at the top of their organization named Shawn LaLonde and Dylan Olsen. LaLonde could easily replace Barker next year (Hendry already has for a week+), and Hendry could slide into Sopel's spot with minimal impact to the on-ice quality of the play. Then we would only need to bring on a rental for Hendry's bench slot next year, which we could do ont he cheap. Sopel + Barker are making $5.333M and could both be replaced internally. Campbell is indeed making north of $7M, but we cannot replace him for cheaper than $5M, and would have to do so via free agency. Also, we're not going to deal a contract the size/length of Campbell's without taking salary back, and we can't afford that. We could, however, deal Barker/Sopel for picks/prospects and not miss a beat. :hello: i don't think campbell is as good as his numbers indicate this season. he is replaceable.

  21. How is admitting that he used steroids for over a decade, including 1998 when he broke the single season HR record, not coming completely clean? because he's pretending it didn't help his performance. it's embarrassing. What does it matter? He admitted using them. because it's completely obvious that the only reason he's admitting it is because he's basically being forced to. he knows he'd be hounded non-stop about it when he starts with the cards if he didn't. you seriously don't see what we're talking about? he's half assing the whole thing and not being real. he's lying about why he used them, and everybody can see how bad he looks except for cardinal fans. he's just making himself look incedibly cowardly. everybody has known for years that he was on steroids, yet he could never suck it up and be a man and admit it. then, when he finally does admit it, he still cant tell the whole truth and has to protect himself by telling more lies. it's pathetic. he's like a scared little chil who is terrified to admit the truth, even though everyboy knows it. STEROIDS ARE WHAT MADE YOU BREAK THE RECORD. it's too bad, because before all this i always liked mcgwire, and i probably would have continued to like him if he just came all the way clean years ago.

  23. Yeah. Who needs guys who know what the hell they're doing out there? im pretty sure that players who have gotten to the majors have a pretty good idea of how to play the game. i have a question. did you like the way dusty baker managed an offense? I don't like a single thing that Dusty Baker ever did. if you dont like the way dusty ran his offesne then you wont like the way ryno would run it either
