    3rd straight NLCS, so with a little distance, I'll look back on this season as a success. It just sucks watching the Cubs flail in real time.

    I SMH every damn time I see Stinnett's name since learning of how the F.O. brought in Brent Honeywell before that draft, were blown away but decided to stick w/ their pre-draft evaluations & picked Stinnett, hoping Honeywell would fall to the 3rd. Of course, Tampa grabbed him w/ their comp pick after the 2nd (I think).

    Nope, I feel the same. If an ump calls a runner out for coming off the bag, without the benefit of replay, I see no one complaining about nitpicky out/safe rules. Wanna not be called out? Stay on the bag.

    It never occurred to me that Maddon would keep Zobrist out of the lineup, so that is surprising. It'd be kinda cool to see the offense make an appearance.

    Tseng is likely a swingman, maybe #5 for a year or two, right? My Kool-aid drinking BiL proclaims him to be a future #3 in the Cubs rotation (the Chicago Cubs, to be clear). I tried talking out of that thinking, but no go.
