  1. I've encountered several Cubs fans recently who want Bauer to be acquired specifically because of how he "tells it like it is." I judge them for it.
  2. The Hendry influence finally takes hold in the Bronx.
  3. I dunno, there might be plenty of fans expressing congratulations to the Ricketts for their swelling bank accounts, based on the ready defense of billionaires I've seen across Cubs interwebs.

  5. BREAKING NEWS: Fox News viewers can't grasp why an affiliation with Sinclair is a problem. Shocking.
  6. I need to see r-mack weigh-in* before I can formulate a response. *no, not really; if I never see him around these parts again it'd be too soon
  7. I've seen it too, and I can't get myself to read through any of the Addison apologist/men's rights activist [expletive] all over the horsefeathering place. Hell, I'm someone who used to regularly watch Fox News, and even occasionally stomach visits to dark places on the web such as The Daily Stormer, simply to educate myself more about how the full spectrum of morons to monsters view the world and craft their arguments. I can't get myself to have exchanges with the garbage people anymore.
  8. I've never been a Matthew Trueblood fan, but now that he says something I want to be true, I think I like him.
  9. Same. horsefeathers this horsefeathers if true.
  10. Nah, but this is as good a time as any to confess that I was the one who got mad at IMB for some dumb reason and tried to send him GOT spoilers at his work e-mail. I think he blamed Sully. aahahahahahhahahaha amazing. I did blame sully for that and he messaged me on facebook about it repeatedly claiming innocence until I blocked him. OMFG I'm crying-laughing
  11. Asking the tough questions.

  13. See, @Cubswin11, you too can become a Cubs hotstove Twitter personality. Just use a cat avatar and you're set.
  14. Charles is good for entertainment but he's not connected. He's a bleacher nation regular and has snarked in the comments before about fans believing he has connections. Dude just connects the dots. I don't give a rat's ass if anyone wants to believe him.
  15. Lil' Maddon's outburst dispelled any notion (for me at least) that the lack of negotiating a new deal was all Big Maddon's decision (I have seen that floated as a potential rationale for him being a lame duck, fwiw). Dude maybe should keep his mouth shut for his old man's sake. Or not. Don't really give AF.
  16. Yeah, Russell was suspended for marital infidelity which is such a huge societal blight that MLB is morally obligated to keep players on the payroll in order to make sure they are rehabbed properly from that sickness before being released back into the real world. /green font or whatever the horsefeathers we do to denote sarcasm
  17. Guess dude's simply moved on from being a F.O. critic & is now setting his sights on fans. He's evolving. How cute. One of the biggest Chicago sports Twitter crybabies lecturing fellow fans was the logical next step.

  21. There will be no milkshake duck'ing with this new dude. Upfront & in the open is appreciated.
  22. It's because slave jokes are funny, man I "like" that he surprised himself by not going for it. The self-restraint was admirable. Get the guy his plaque for Poster of the Month
  23. It's because slave jokes are funny, man
  24. I decided I won't believe the Cubs austerity rumors unless/until Boras starts ripping ownership publicly for failing to "act like a big market team."
  25. What I gather from reading some of the online debate about Russell is that a scary amount of people think playing big league baseball is a some sort of natural right and that guilt beyond all reasonable doubt must be established for him to be deserving of being run out of town on a rail.
