And for the bullpen giving up just 1 hit and an unearned run. Also, according to the pitching stats that were posted, the game went 10 innings. Either Rusch only pitched 4.7 innings or Williamson only pitched 0.3 innings. Just thought I would put that out there.

Solid work once again so far from our bullpen this spring. I still have trouble saying soild work from our bullpen. For once, at least right now, I'm not going to shudder to think who Baker will bring in from the bullpen. Hopefully we'll be able to rely on them all year.

Nice recovery after a shaky start, I still don't like him as a starter though. He seems to have done that alot (start bad then recover with a few nice innings) between last year and this spring. Please keep him away from the pen.... It seems like for every good start Rusch has, he has a bad start as well. Not consistent enough.

Pagan? maybe Hendry? Better? I don't know. I doubt Pagan's best will ever match Corey's best, which was in '03. He's likely to be more consistant though, and his average, IMO, will surely be better than Corey's worst. Off topic, I know. But I'm so disappointed in the whole Corey debacle. The entire organization had such high hopes for him. He was doing so well until the knee injury. It wasn't his knee that did him in, it was the space between his ears... An injured knee doesn't force you to swing at every pitch within two feet of the strike zone.

I think the season depends equally as much on whether or not Jones and Pierre can rebound and if Matt Murton can be a decent MLB player. The offense needs to be more well rounded then we used to be and need to rely less on home runs.

People just look at his win total from last year (14) and his age (24) and think that he's immature. I guarantee that if Zambrano finishes top 5 in the Cy Young this year, nobody will say anything.
