  1. They were talking before the game about the unrestricted free agents the Colts have after the year and one of them is Dominic Rhodes. I would be very surprised if he is back with the Colts next year because of Addai.
  2. The Indy defense absolutely be getting credit for what's going on today. When there are 4+ minutes to go in the third quarter and you haven't given up a first down, you're doing a great job. The KC defense, well, they've been lucky. Indy had shoddy playcalling on Vinatieri's 19 yd field goal and Manning's made a couple bad decisions (or miscommunications with Harrison). KC's defense has allowed 368 yards so far.
  3. About time a touchdown was scored. Now keep it up. And find an offense KC.
  4. Clemson pulls out a 75-74 victory over Georgia Tech.
  5. Can the offenses please stop sucking and score some touchdowns?
  6. Is he the other announcer?
  7. I wouldn't be so sure-the Denver game for example was Denver 14, Colts 6 at halftime-at the end, it was Colts 34, Denver 31. The Colts have been a 2nd half team all year long. I'm going to need a second half like that one to win. Here's hoping it happens.
  8. Yeah, just ignore a season of dominance by AFC teams over the NFC in favor of one ugly game between two AFC teams.
  9. Well, I think it's safe to say I'm going to lose my O/U wager for this game.
  10. It doesnt matter how bad your defense is if you know exactly what the opposing team is going to do its not too hard to stop them. The Chiefs are really making it easy for them. They need to do some more play action and more passes on 1st and 2nd down. I think the Colts have known for a few weeks what teams were going to try to do offensively against them and they weren't able to do anything about it. They allowed 153 yards rushing to Ron Dayne so to hold Larry Johnson to 15 yards through most of the first half is quite the accomplishment.
  11. The Colts have been playing very well defensively and decent offensively. Their problem has been the inability to get touchdowns. The Chiefs on the other hand, well they just stink today.
  12. This is a very disappointing game thus far.
  13. Nice hands Reggie, where were they a couple plays ago when you could have picked up a first down?
  14. Ok, so who had Clemson in the pool for last unbeaten team in the nation?
  15. UGH. You suck Tynes. It's 23 yards. A high schooler could make that.
  16. Good, get a TD here KC and make Indy pick it up. Points please.
  17. Yeah, remind me how many times one conference has been favored in all its bowl games, and been favored by at least a touchdown in four of them? The Big East went 5-0 in large part because they had easy matchups. Maybe they played Buffalo because Howard, Eastern Washington and Temple already had commitments to play Big East teams. All teams do this. It's not exactly a new practice. I could go through all the major conferences and find a bunch of low DI-A and DI-AA schools that they schedule year in and year out. As for the first point, yeah, the Big East was favored. But they still went out and won the games. They could have packed it in, been ticked off they played crummy schools, and overlooked their bowl matchups. But they didn't. They went out and won the games that were given to them and that's all they could do. There was no sense complaining because it wasn't going to change anything.
  18. Come on Indy. I need touchdowns not field goals you bums.
  19. I am in complete concurrence with you. While neither would be fun, I'd much rather have a bruised jaw than an intrascrotal hematoma. Just my two cents. I'm in agreement here. Bruised nuts are no laughing matter. I'll take a punch to the face over getting hit in the nuts by just about anything.
  20. While I want the Colts to win, I just want to see the teams score a lot of points, let's just say, oh I don't know, more than 51.
  21. Horrible, horrible shot by Shipp and UCLA to end the game. UCLA goes down.
  22. Holy smokes. UCLA hits a 3 to tie, then Oregon comes down and hits a 2 with about 13 seconds left. UCLA ball following a timeout. ETA: I would love to see Collison or Afflalo take a three for the victory.
  23. And yet they're still in the game.
  24. That's funny Vance because that's how I view the SEC and Big 10. Plus, Thanks to Delaney (Big 10 Commish) we will NEVER have a playoff because he's too happy with the Rose Bowl the way it's set up now. But to a man, most of the big name coaches in the SEC are firmly in favor of a playoff. I know Miles, Myer, and Tubberville are for certain. But Vance we know who runs the SEC and it isn't the coaches. To be fair, have any of the major conference commissioners come out and said they would favor a playoff system? I don't think it's just the SEC and Big 10.
