    I would say Pujols but that's only because I don't know much about fantasy hockey leagues and what goes into the scoring (and yes I know that Truffle just posted it but I haven't done a fantasy hockey league before). As has been said, I could see Tomlinson going #1 in a lot of leagues but it's not a slam dunk (you know, since you could pick Reggie Bush :D) and there are a number of players would would get picked just as often as LeBron at #1 in basketball.

    Hey SSR, how many teams the Mountain West will get in the tourney? I would think BYU, UNLV, and Air Force are in while San Diego State has a decent shot.

    True, I dislike the Big 12 though for having too many teams. You guys never play the Texas schools twice in a year huh? What do you think of the Big East then? :D

    I would take that also. I figured they could get a second rounder from some team. I don't know how reputable KNBR is as far as reporting rumors but they are the major sports radio station out here.

    No criticism that I know of at GT. The only worry I have (and this COULD fall on the QB at Tech) is that he disappeared at times during big games when he wasn't thrown to early. I have no idea if he was shut down, or if he was pulling a Randy Moss and taking plays off. as others have born witness, it was reggie ball who disappeared, not johnson. I mistakenly doubted Johnson but after the bowl performance against West Virginia - when he actually had a semi competent QB throwing the ball to him - I realized it was Ball who brought him down. It took you that long? I realized in the 2nd half of GT vs ND in the 06 opener that Calvin Johnson had been screwed over. I didn't know much about him before this year and I didn't get to watch the GT-ND game. The first game I really got a chance to watch was the game against WVU. The ACC championship game was unwatchable. I think their game against Clemson was the ESPN featured game but I didn't get to watch that one either.

    I'll take it. Just get rid of Moss and draft Calvin Johnson. Oh, and I am SO unbelievably happy that Aaron Brooks is no longer on the team.

So you're ok with your Ball disappearing but not your Johnson? We have the makings of a dirty old man right here.

    So you were here a year before the site was created? Interesting. :D But in regards to the topic, I prefer some of the newer stats but that is mostly offensively (OBP, SLG, OPS) but am figuring out some of the pitching stats. The more complicated (in my mind) stats like VORP and WARP (especially this one) might as well be in a foreign language as far as how they are calculated. I understand what VORP means though. I'm starting to understand OPS+ and ERA+ though. When people start talking about fielding metrics, I just skip over that conversation because I have no idea what they're talking about.
