  1. And the Cubs give two runs back this inning.
  2. Man, if Ramirez could have come up with that one Estrada was screwed at third.
  3. Allowing ack to back hits to start the inning it's looking that way.
  4. a lot of scouts think he's already too big to play SS Wood is listed at 6'3". ARod is the same height and that didn't hurt him at all. Ripken Jr. was 6'4" and he was good for a while too.
  5. Wow. I'm surprised about three things on that play: 1. It wasn't a double play. 2. Ramirez didn't injure himself (re: strained groin) tripping over second. 3. Ramirez didn't get tagged out at second after tripping.
  6. Lilly led off last inning with a single.
  7. Lou might as well just get it over with early and put Izturis in right now.
  8. Theriot tries to ground into a double play but was bailed out by a bad throw.
  9. Look at that hustle by Lilly to get the IF hit.
  10. I've been extremely happy with Lilly's performance this year. Let's hope he can keep it up.
  11. why would they? I don't see why you would want to help your opponent turn their lineup over so they have the leadoff guy batting first the next inning instead of the pitcher. Maybe with one out they would walk Pie to get to Lilly but not with two.
  12. Just noticed the lineup and I can't believe that Lou actually started Theriot at SS.
  13. A few minutes late but that was a good finish by Joe Cole following a great job with the ball by Drogba to get it to Cole. 1-0 Chelsea.
  14. I haven't seen too many Lakers games this season so I was rather stunned at just how bad their defense is. Really bad game by everyone...Smush Parker is useless. Glad to see Jordan has improved quite a bit from earlier in the season (his D was sketchy, but not too many guys can hang with Nash) and he's going to be a quality starting PG for a while to come. :) Exactly why I didn't want the Lakers to pull the trigger on the Kidd deal at midseason. I think Farmar will be the starter next year as I don't see Smush Parker coming back with his recent complaining of a lack of playing time in the fourth quarter (and the fact that he's played a combined 14 minutes in the two playoff games). Smush occasionally made a big shot but I dread him shooting any time he gets the ball.
  15. Any word on if the game is going to be played?
  16. I'll end up sort of watching this on mlb.tv as there are more important things (Champions League) to watch on tv.
