  1. Kansas was up 6 with 18 seconds left in OT, they were about to shoot 2 FTs and they didn’t win the game.
  2. So Djokovic retired immediately after an 80 minute first set today that he lost in a tiebreak. Shitty situation for sure. But what if he wins the first set? If he then loses the second set, does he retire immediately then? Like the injury was bad enough to make him retire right away. Did he really think he could make it through 2+ more sets against the No. 2 ranked player? And if he wins, what then? The injury likely isn't going to get better in the next two days. I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do. It's just a weird situation.
  3. You’re allowed some contact as a DB and it didn’t impede the WR much at all. If you’re going to call defensive PI or a hold, you need to call offensive PI for offsetting penalties for the shove. But I think a no call was probably appropriate. If you’re going to call PI for stuff like that, you’re going to have flags all game long for PI.
  4. It's going to get overlooked because of the Lamar turnovers and the Andrews turnover and drop, but man this was an awful PI call. At best it's a no call but if you're going to call PI, it should be on the offense. Bills would have had 4th and 5 from the 30 up 14-10 with just over a minute left in the first half. 47 yard FG in the snow is no gimmie. And Baltimore would have had time on the clock to try and move the ball. Instead, Buffalo burns more clock (preventing Baltimore the chance to drive) and gets a TD to make it 21-10.
  5. 2017 Bama lost to Auburn but won the title. That was the year Tua replaced Hurts in the title game at halftime.
  6. Good thing they expanded the playoff, right? Sorry, had to. At least you can imagine a world where it's still a 4 team playoff and Michigan ended OSU's season once again.
  7. That FG was significant to a lot of people out there.
  8. Maybe if Hurts returns to normal, but we haven’t seen that yet.
  9. Boy that's a rough 4th quarter for Andrews with the fumble and the dropped 2-point.
  10. That one out of bounds 100% would have been a flag on Mahomes.
  11. Well that was a fun game. Hope Bills-Ravens lives up to the billing.
  12. Upsets happen but I'd be really surprised if the AFC doesn't win the Super Bowl this year.
  13. That would be my instinct but Hurts hasn't been good since coming back from the concussion. I know the weather is bad today but he looked bad last week too.
  14. In 2019 Spurs fired Poch after 12 games with the team in 14th despite him leading them to the UCL final 5 months prior, coming off league finishes of 3rd, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, all while not doing anything in the transfer market for 3 straight windows. And yet Ange gets to keep hiding behind the "oh we've got injuries" excuse. Dude needs to go. He had a good 10 games to start last season and they've sucked since then. 5 points in 9 games. Only 8 points off the relegation zone and they're closer to 18th than they are to 10th.
  15. I do enjoy that immediately after Snyder sells the team, Washington wins more games in a season than they did in any season that Snyder owned the team and have won as many playoff games this year as they did total in the entire time he owned the team.
  16. This ad makes fun of my team and yet 10/10. No notes.
  17. Good for Minnesota that Darnold had these couple games before they paid him a bunch of money.
  18. I feel bad for Everton. PL is really going to hit them hard for all of Man City’s charges.
  19. I was just looking at the final AP poll, which probably wasn’t the best thing to use. KenPom they have 4 of the top 8 this year, last year was 4 and 5 and then Alabama at 14. Looking through the year, the SEC has never had more than 2 teams in the top 10 of the final KenPom rankings, though even that is arbitrary because in 2019 Auburn was 11 and in 2022 they were 12.
  20. For those that pay attention closer, is this year just a fluke year with the SEC being really good and the ACC being down and the Big 10 not being that great? Looking at the rankings and the SEC has 5 of the top 8 plus 11 and 15. Meanwhile the only ACC team in the top 25 is Duke and the highest ranked Big 10 team is MSU at 12. Normally there’s like 1 or 2 good SEC teams and that’s it.
  21. My first instinct was a kind of want to bet the over. 51-111 is still an awful team and that gets the over. At the same time, that’s still a 10 game improvement which is a lot for a team that hasn’t done anything except trade away their best SP.
  22. Buffalo better win tomorrow because we deserve to get Allen vs Jackson next weekend.
  23. The counter to that is the last six years their QB's have been Russell Wilson and Justin Fields Kenny Pickett Kenny Pickett Big Ben at 39 Big Ben at 38 Mason Rudolph (Big Ben got hurt) And because they don't tank, it makes it harder to get a top QB.
  24. Glad these two games have been close. Hopefully the title game is too.
