    It also gives me something to do other than pay attention in class. And then when they win, I have Go Cubs Go stuck in my head the rest of the day. When was the last time the Cubs had the division lead outright? 2003. The last time the Cubs were in first place all by themselves was on April 28, 2004. The Cubs were 13-8 and 1 game ahead of the Reds who were 12-9.

    Sorry but don't you mean stupid Cub fans? You saw the number of votes on that date and compared to the first day, that made it stand out to be looked at more closely. The rule was put into place to prevent just what happened on the second day of voting...someone winning by cheating. And I am not referring to Vance nor Elinore but another contestant that day. Vance, I think you should have won since you were the best one that day and it stinks that you didn't. Wow! That's definitely interesting.

    While I agree on most of your points, I think this one is out of place considering what Carpenter has done from 04-06. You forgot to mention that Daric Barton is one of the best hitters in the PCL at the age of 21. :wink:

    well i'll probably start it a little before then, because I'm going to do about 3 per month. That'll be 3 months, then at the end we can do a top 20 overall player list... if I start after the super bowl, we'll already be into baseball season. I'd start it in November after the World Series ends.
