Update! The Rockies are now 4-25. The 2024 White Sox were 6-23 and were actually 14-30 at one point (they didn't have their 12, 14 and 21 game losing streaks until after this). After playing Atlanta tomorrow, Colorado's upcoming series are SF, Det, SD, Tex, Ari, Phi, NYY, ChC, NYM, Mia, NYM, SF. Only Miami is under .500 (though Arizona is 1 over, Tex is 2 over and Phi 3 over). They've got the same RD of -78 after 29 games as the WS last year. It's likely going to be a rough next 6 weeks for Colorado.

Hoping for a Barcelona-PSG final. That would be a fun one. Barcelona thinks the best defense is a good offense and PSG hasn’t been the strongest defensive team either.

Because I was curious, I looked up the 2024 WS and they were 3-22 before winning 3 straight against the Rays. So they were actually a game better than the Rockies after 27 games. The WS were 10 runs worse in RD however.

Oh no, he took a knee for the anthem! The horror! It inconvenienced literally nobody and hurt literally nobody. What a huge fucking distraction that was! Meanwhile Tyreek Hill (among others) abuses both women and children and the NFL is cool with that. Stop defending the NFL and stop claiming Kaepernick wasn't a starting caliber QB. Was he a superstar? No. But he wasn't an awful QB like Tim Tebow either.

Kaepernick didn’t become a distraction. He was made into a distraction by right wing idiots who only care about left wing views being kept out of sports. Again, if Kaepernick had been a right wing loony, he would have continued to be employed in the NFL.

Kaepernick wasn’t a backup and there wasn’t too much noise around him. Had he been a vocal pro Trump guy, none of the teams would have cared. There also wasn’t too much noise around Tebow. He just wasn’t an NFL QB.

There’s always the chance for a couple 3 point variance games but yeah, I’d be shocked if they’re challenged at all in the West. And for that matter I’d be shocked if Cleveland and Boston don’t meet in the East finals as well.

So far 9-5 during our rough stretch that started April 4. Get at least 2 of the next 6 and that’s a winning record through the April portion of it.
