    corey seager has pretty much locked up the ROY already. A lot of people said that about Joc at this time last year. Joc had an unsustainable BABIP in April and when that stopped, he hit HRs at an unsustainable rate the next two months. When that stopped, his numbers plummeted because he struck out too much (almost 30%). Seager's been a better all around hitter than Joc.

    Fewest runs the Cubs have scored in a game against the Reds this year is 5. They've scored at least 8 in a game 8 times and double figures three time.

    LOL. Cubs have hit 24 home runs against the Reds this year while the Reds have only scored 32 runs.

    Aaron Ramsey will miss the semi due to yellow card accumulation. If they're going to make it so a player has to go through 5 matches without getting 2 yellow cards simply to make it so guys don't get a yellow in the QF and SF and miss the final, at least make it 3.

    It's not Saturday therefore this game is not on FOX. It's on WGN and MLBN and also starts at 6:10 CT, not 6:15.

    Contreras and Baez had no business swinging at the first pitch. He walked Montero, only threw one clear strike to Zobrist and only threw 2 of 6 in the zone to KB. You know he's going to come down and in. So just take the pitch. If he puts one right over the middle, oh well.

    He doesn't pitch until Sunday but Syndergaard has allowed 28 stolen bases this year in 15 starts. That's a pace of 56 for 30 starts and 61.6 for 33 starts. For comparison's sake, Lester only allowed 44 all of last year.

    Even after the 1-6 week, the Cubs are tied for the 9th best RD after 77 games since 1900 and the best one since the 1939 Yankees.
