    They had a police perimeter west of Wrigley late during Game 6 but UMFan and I managed to get through. Just had to go down some side streets.

    Hindsight is 20/20 but I really wish I had shelled out the money to go to this game. I would have been miserable and regretted it had they lost and I didn't really regret it until it looked like they were going to do it.

    While I would have loved to have that honor, I don't mind that the Cubs sacrificed Game 1 so Fred could do it. Definitely way more fitting and hopefully he can take it home.

    Am I wrong here? This is a save situation, because he's got to get 4 outs with a 4 run lead. Not a save situation. Doesn't satisfy any of those.
