  1. And now a pitching change with two outs? Strop on a 10 pitch limit? Just have him throw a bullpen.
  2. If we’re not going to use Chatwood up 10, when are we going to use him?
  3. Bring in Chatwood for the 8th. I know we’re off tomorrow but no need to use the good pen guys if you don’t need to. Ideally he gets through 2 but if starts to go bad you yank him quickly.
  4. I mean, April 6 is over 10 days off. You have plenty of time.
  5. You say that like other pictures exist We’ll always have that walkoff slam against Philly.
  6. God I can’t believe that putback didn’t go for UCF.
  7. End of the Belmont game, Belmont down 2 with Maryland shooting 1 more FT and 2.5 seconds left, Belmont coach calls his last timeout. Why call it before the FT? If he makes it you can throw the ball up the court regardless but by calling the timeout, you’re screwed if he misses (he did). Seems like he should have just waited.
  8. So my work pool scores 1-2-4-6-8-12 per round with an underdog bonus in the first two rounds where you add the difference in seeds. So if a 10 beats a 7, I get 4 points but 7 over a 10 is worth 1. Is there a good reason why, after I fill out my bracket, I shouldn’t just pick the underdog in round 1 if I have the better team losing in round 2? So if I have the 4 beating the 5 in the R32, should I just pick the 12 instead since I have the 5 losing anyway? I was pretty much going to pick all 9s and 10s unless I picked a 7 to beat a 2. Obviously might not work out but I’d only be losing a point on each game with the payoff being much larger. And if a couple hit, I’m in great shape.
  9. Edwards also got tossed for intentionally hitting a 29 year old career minor league catcher.
  10. It’s pretry hilarious that Harper held out for so long just so he could get the largest contract and Trout comes along and wipes it out 3 weeks later. I do wish Trout would have never signed his first extension just so we could have seen the contract a 26 year old Trout got in free agency.
  11. They’ll be guaranteed an over .500 record with at least 20 games to play.
  12. I'm sure a others can do this also but I know exactly where I was for 9 of those games. The only one I don't was Schwarber against the Reds.
  13. Raiders getting Antonio Brown for a 3rd and a 5th. He'll get a new 3 year, 54M deal. Seems crazy that the Raiders got a 1st back for Cooper but gave up way less for Brown. I know Cooper is younger but he's only 1 year from getting paid and isn't nearly as good of a receiver as Brown is.
  14. Because you disagreed with the call or because you wanted ManU to lose? I thought they got the call right so I was fine with it. Plus it gives Spurs another potential winnable tie in the quarters. Not that ManU is a guaranteed win but I’d rather play them than PSG. Hoping for Porto/ManU/Ajax in the quarters. Would be nice if Lyon could somehow upset Barcelona next week but I’m not counting on it.
  15. I know division titles mean nothing in the NBA but has there ever been a sub-.500 division winner before? Because there almost certainly will be this year. Charlotte and Miami lead the Southeast at 29-34 right now.
  16. Well know we know the real reason Bruce Bochy is retiring after 2019.
  17. Why can’t they just do the simple solution of a 40 man roster but declaring a certain number of player who are available to play in the game? Players get service time as long as they’re with the team and eliminates using 10 pitchers in a 9 inning game because you have an 18 man staff.
  18. Dodgers are going to have two pitcher injuries every game.
  19. Things that are true: -The most 3 points Rondo has attempted in a game in his career is 7. -In the first 5:36 of tonight’s game, Rondo took 7 3 pointers. You might be thinking that he must have been shooting well. Well, you would be wrong. He missed his first 5 and is 1-7.
