I can give you a handful of days this year where people were more pessimistic. Go look up the game threads from March 31-April 5. The Cubs lost 6 straight games and allowed 8, 11, 8, 6, 9 and 13 runs. They blew five leads in the first three of those games, then got hammered in the last three (the third one was 13-10 but it was 13-5 going into the 8th). I'm sure you were losing your horsefeathers back then, although that's not really much different than most other days over the past year or so for you.
