    But seriously. How stupid was that play. They had a meeting at the mound and played back so they could increase their chances at getting an out. They were clearly playing for extras. Then, on the FIRST horsefeathering PITCH, that [expletive] says horsefeathers it I’m throwing home. Basically gave the middle finger to the coaching staff.

    The Brewers and Cards suck just as much as we do.

    Greg Holland came in to close the game out for the DBacks last night against the Dodgers. He got the first two guys out. He then walked four straight guys to force in the tying run. DBacks brought in a reliever who walked Bellinger to end it.

    Nah we were playing just as bad right before the break in 2017 We were 5-20 going in to the break in 2016, I believe. Which is somehow worse than 2017 or even where we are so far this year. Your general point still stands but it was 5-15 right before the break.

    Wasn’t the whole reason they kept Horan on the bench against Spain was so she didn’t pick up a yellow and be forced to miss the France game? Ellis got away with it but it doesn’t seem smart.

    I’m getting kind of tired saying “well, at least the Cards and Brewers lost also”. Like if we were playing decent we’d be 5 games up and cruising. Not even playing great, just decently.

    I’ll always remember seeing the headline in the newspaper of “McClendon steals first base” and thinking who the horsefeathers is McClendon and how did he steal first.

    So they’re claiming sprained ankle but I’ll be shocked if that’s what it is. It didn’t look like he turned his ankle at all on the play. Plus he was down on the ground and didn’t put any pressure on it at all when being helped off. I hope they’re right that it’s an ankle sprain but that looks bad.
