  1. At least the offense showed and the bullpen did their jobs. Let's take these next two games and leave the capital city of Hades with a split. Do it Cubs.
  2. Duncan Keith, Hall of Famer.
  3. I still believe in Brown. That is why I prefer him going to Iowa and not be used as trade bait. Brown can be a weapon for the Cubs.
  4. I had not thought about that. Interesting. But with Levine keeps saying the Cubs are trading for a starter soon (does not sound like it will be Alcantara), I wonder if a Suarez and Kelly or Gallen package could be something they are pursing?
  5. Apparently the Cubs checked in on Devers before he was dealt. I doubt they would have traded for him but I think it shows the Cubs are looking for another bat.
  6. Nitpicking alert but if the Cubs lose on Monday would that not be 2 L's in a row, not three?
  7. Haliburton, Lilliard, and Tatum. All torn their achillies in these playoffs and coincidentally enough, they all wore #0.
  8. I've cooled down. Frustrating series to say the least. Anybody remember when the Brewers gave up 36 runs to the Yankees then followed that up with allowing 11 runs to the Royals?
  9. I hope SEA goes stone cold for the next couple of weeks.
  10. We are now in the Cubs are going to.annoy their fans portion of the schedule. Can not even try to rally if your pitchers keep giving up runs.
  11. Cubs pitching (with some shady defense) has given up 8, 9, 7 and 9 (so far today) runs in the last four games at Wrigley. That needs to change. The Cubs next day off is on June 30.
  12. To me, this game feels like a game the Cubs win late. Dare you to prove me right Cubs.
  13. Clearly the Homerun Brothers, 🤴 Tuck and Busch has to carry the load today.
  14. Probably the end for Brodie in the NHL.
  15. 17 runs in the last two games. Need to do better. Time to put up a big number tomorrow, Cubs offense.
  16. Sucks but his choice. I don't know how much he'll play or how effective he will be.
  17. Maybe but I was not interested in the matchup. It did not help that Finals scheduling of games sucks.
  18. Hunter Bigge was stetchered out of the dugout after being hit by a foul ball by Ruschman. Hope he is ok.
  19. If I am not mistaken, he does have an opt-out in his contract. With that said, Bos just traded away Devers, so I am pretty sure they are committed to Bregman moving forward.
  20. Brewers could not gain a game on the Cubs before they leave town. I call that a win.
  21. Either way the Bulls are on the treadmill to nowhere. Continuity.
  22. Welp. I guess the Bulls won't be sniffing the Conference Finals this decade.
  23. I think Jed talked today or maybe it was yesterday, and he implied that he wanted to acquired a starter sooner rather than later. Not the first time we've heard that but if Alcantara is not going to be dealt till closer to the deadline, I doubt he's a target.
