I agree.
The Brewers will go cold, at some point. You don't want to be peaking in late July/early August, It would not surprise me if Milwaukee goes into Seattle and loses 2 of 3 or get swept because baseball.
There is no assuming. That is what Mil has done recently. Until they break that trend, they get no benefit of the doubt. ATP Milwaukee is a good regular season team but essentially a playoff jobber.
I'm not accepting anything but I am also not going to worry about the vaunted brewers. The Brewers will do what the Brewers have always done in recent times.....the leave the playoffs quickly.
Everything hot will go cold, it'll happen. Keep grinding away and I am confident the Cubs will be there in the end.
As Rcal mentioned, Castro is a rental. Cubs better not give a quality prospect like Long for a non impact rental bat like Castro.
I can be talked into Long for Suarez but not Long for Castro.
I say stop worrying about what Mil is doing. The Cubs should keep doing their thing and take care of the Brewers when it is time to play Mil. Do that and it won't matter what Mil is doing.
I'm going to wait and see him be healthy before I give him a slot.
Do not get me wrong, I do believe he's a top 5 talent in the system, when he is healthy.
