  1. Good thing I will be on vacation and will miss the game .v. Ravens. It looks like the only way the Bears can win this game is if Caleb and the offense balls out and puts up a lot of points.
  2. When Blashill benched Reichel in the 3rd last night, you knew Riechel being traded was inevitable.
  3. Lukas Riechel went from being #98 linemate for the first two periods to being benched in the 3rd period. If that is not Richel's career in Chicago in a nutshell,
  4. The Lightning did outplay the Hawks tongiht. With that said, I was impressed with the fight this team showed.
  5. At least Matas looked good.
  6. Obviously Connor Bedard's cousin is the prize, but this draft is top heavy. If the Hawks don't get McKenna, it's not the worst thing in the world, especially if they land one of those other players.
  7. Give me one of McKenna, Verhoeff, Stenberg, Lawrence, Roobroeck, Belchetz and I will be happy. Would love McKenna, but the Hawks are not desperate for McKenna.
  8. Anybody interested in Okamoto, the 3B who is being posted?
  9. Count me on the be patient with Caleb bandwagon. He is making steady progress, believe it or not. Like someone else mentioned and needs to be mentioned again, Ben Johnson is trying to coach Caleb out of his bad habits. That is a work in progess.
  10. You're right. I misspoke. I apologize.
  11. To me, this feels like one of those games the Bears should not win but does. If they lose, it would not be the first or the last time I am wrong.
  12. I guess Ohtani will get on a plane and go to Toronto this time. 😏 I'm sure Blue Jays fans will give him a warm and loving embrace when he gets there.
  13. And Munoz was unhittable up to tonight. I get that, but Munoz got hit hard tonight. He was very lucky all he gave up was the homrun. I know Dan Wilson was in a tough spot but I would have made the pitching change at the start of the inning. Wilson will get some flak for that decision, though not all is deserved.
  14. Dan Wilson decision to pull Bryan Woo for Munoz, who promptly gave up the eventual game winning 3R Homerun to Springer, will be the focal point.
  15. I don't expect playoffs but if the Hawks want to play themselves into the conversation, I won't argue My only expectation for this season will be to see Lardis, Moore and Frondell joining the party.
  16. Probably not but it would be fun to see them stay in it as long as possible.
  17. Not a great game but the Hawks got the 2-1 win in OT. Spencer Knight was damn good tonight.
  18. Patrick Mahomes was terrible in last season's Super Bowl. It happens to the best of them.
  19. Agree. I am chalking this game as "one of those games".
  20. I think that will end today.
  21. Then I won't waste my time.
  22. I agree. A fight is inevitable, though.
  23. I am preparing myself for a lockout. Too many franchises are going to cry foul about the Dodgers advantages.
  24. LOL @ Pat Murphy for admitting that the Brewers threw everything they had to beat the Cubs.
