As you said yesterday and it still applies today, Swain can not spend one second in Chicago his rookie season. I do not care he is a "BG guy", Swain is simply not an NBA player right now. Sellers/Atwell and Tome I can squint and see at least rotational players in the next couple of seasons. I really would like to see Wilson play with better talent than he did in the SL.

Buffalo also wants Hellebuyck. I doubt they have room for Hellebuyck and Kane..

Brewers gave up Prince Fielder's son as part of the deal. I don't think much will come from this deal for the Brewers. To me this deal is not unlike what the Cubs have done in the first half, collecting arms and seeing if anything sticks.

I get why FOX would have love to suspend the game and start it back up the next night but I do not see a scenario in which both Chicago and Cleveland would have agreed to it.

McCullers has not been both good and healthy since 2021. Maybe there is something left in the tank but ijmo, I think McCullers is cooked.

Why are people surprised about Amsingers' opinion? The dude is from St. Louis, he produced Cardinals games for a local St. Louis radio for 2 years and is a known Cardinal fan. He knew what he was doing. He is definitely trolling Cubs fans.

Courtesy of Brett Taylor but he mentioned that Bregman started feeling good around the Brewers series and since that series Bregman has gone .250/.339/.521 with a 134 wRC. If this holds, then I hoping for a big second half for Bregman.

For the second half, I need Nico to get back to being the Nico that earned that extension. I'm not convinced the division is out of reach right now. So if the Cubs plan on making that run, we all know Bregman and Hoerner has to step up their games.
