  1. Of course I want Jed to be in on and then land Skubal but do you think the Cubs are going to spend 350/400m on a pitcher? They have not even broke 200m on a position player yet.
  2. They will be different but are they actually better than last year's team? I don't know.
  3. They have lost what Sterns, Counsell, Hader, Williams, Burnes, Adames, over the last few years and they just keep coming. So, losing Peralta, likely won't mean anything to them.
  4. Felix Pie is another guy who I thought should have been a good player,
  5. The one prospect that I dream the most on becoming the super dooper superstar was Corey Patterson. While he did have serviceable career but he should have been more. Others include: Luis Montanez, Ryan Harvey. Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters. Not to mentioned others that have already been mentioned in this thread.
  6. The talent is there but I think I will let him walk. Brisker has already said that despite his concussions, he is not going to change the way he plays.
  7. It says to me pivot by the Mets. I think Cody is nearing a decision and it won't be the Mets.
  8. Any chance that the Cubs interests in Gallen is simply Jed doing Boras a solid?
  9. Robert Salah finalizing a deal to become Tennessee Titans HC.
  10. I like to think of it as Caleb running him out of the NFC North. That he decided that he would rather face Allen/Maye and whoever Jets put out there than face Caleb again. It's not true, I know that but I prefer to think it.
  11. Jeff Hafley to the Dolphins because why not.
  12. Nico is one heck of a ballplayer and the Cubs would be unwise to trade him. So I really hope they do not trade Nico.
  13. Yeah, he was definitely meh. So I am proud of the defense showing up and showing out against, imo, a future HOF QB.
  14. He has had more than a few career years. I think most people don't realize how good Stafford is because he spent so many years on some really crappy Lions teams.
  15. I did not realize how consistent Stafford has been in his career. I could see hm continue play at this level for a few years.
  16. I'm as disappointed as anybody but given how the Bears started and where they ended up, I am beyond thrilled about the development of this team. We have a HC and most importantly, we have a QB. Ryan Poles you have 52 days.
  17. Refs screwed the Bills and the Broncos lost their starting QB for the season. Patriots are going to another Super Bowl, aren't they?
  18. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Thuney at LG and Theo at LT, but I don't think it's insane to consider Thuney at LT.
  19. Thuney played LT for the Chiefs on their run to the Super Bowl. So I don't think it's insane to put Thuney at LT. in fact between Thuney, Theo and Braxton, Thuney might be the Bears best option at LT. My concern is LG. Can Luke Newman or Jordan McFadden handle that spot?
  20. Don't forget Matt's brother, Mike, is on McVay's staff. So the Bears have a chance to eliminate a second LaFleur from the playoffs.
  21. Ok. Thank you for clearing it up.
