    Mort said that Colt Brennan is leaning towards turning pro. Reggie Nelson (a better safety than LaRon Landry, imo) is forgoing his senior season at Florida and turning pro.

    It's amusing to see LA turned into a Charger town this past season. Damn. Wife isn't ready yet. Luckily, the bar is only 5 minutes away. Poor LA with no NFL teams. Sounds like the Chargers plan on staying somewhere in San Diego, though National City, Chula Vista and Oceanside (the bidders) are not better options than just building a new stadium right next to Jack Murph....err, Qualcomm Stadium. Are they all easy as Petco to get to? No, National City and Chula Vista are the southernmost incorporated cities before Tijuana while Oceanside is on the border of Camp Pendleton (i.e. closer to Orange County than Downtown San Diego).

Geez...National City, Chula Vista or Oceanside? The Padres got lucky to get Downtown/Gas Lamp. I agree that Mission Valley would be better for the whole county than one of the extreme ends of the county.

    Who do you have starting at Iowa? Cedeno? Certainly - no one at West Tenn last year would really be deserving to start at SS for Iowa. An EPatt-Cedeño DP combo would be interesting.

    Bears/Giants? The Giants game last week? I'm confused... The Bears/Giants thread where you were criticizing the Bears. They were laying an egg till you started up, then they took off for the blow out once you got most of the Bears fans riled up against you.

    Here's hoping your Bears fare better than Carolina did the last time the Seahawks played an NFC playoff game. I'm pretty sure the Panthers were sitting at home watching the last time the Seahawks played an NFC playoff game. :wink: Oops. Serves me right for trying to sound cryptic. Go Bears. Is what I meant. Why thank you ndistops. I wouldn't root for the Panthers in the same situation. So I guess you are a better man. Based on the Giants game, it might not be a good thing that ndistops is rooting for the Bears.
