How the heck can they let the play run and then decide USC called a timeout before?

You underestimate Petros Papadakis. He's a former USC fullback, totally bleeds red and gold. He had to announce the UCLA-Stanford game, he was downright jolly until about 4 minutes left in regulation and then he was near tears by overtime. Thank God I couldn't watch the UCLA-Arizona game, I'm sure he loved that baby.

USC's all-world punter Tom Malone saved the touchdown by actually forcing the returner to juke. But that is Malone's problem, he always outkicks the coverage.
