    Well, he did go to USC... He's the biggest homer when it comes to USC to ever be given a microphone. After he's done tossing Reggie Bush's you know what, he'll immediately begin to give Carson Palmer a you know what on the Dan Patrick Show. You haven't heard local LA media if you think Sean is the biggest USC homer around. You're lucky.

    You mean not sacrificing musical quality to be loud? Or the whole always wear sunglasses thing? Or would you have had them stop throwing liquids at anyone wearing UCLA attire? I would've fired myself out of embarrassment. All NU does is play old music that nobody has ever heard of, but at least it wasn't that. And while it pains me to say it, take a page out of Michigan's book and do a halftime show of Monty Python and the Holy Grail for cryin' out loud. You know, something that's both entertaining and won't force people to change the channel. Stanford's band is freaking awesome. If I had gotten in there, I'd have gone just to be in their band.

    By the way, I agree, I don't like Leinart's chances as a pro prospect as much. I've also heard he might pull an Eli if the Saints try to draft him. Nice sack!

    sorry to all the Saints fans on here, but I see bust all over Leinart. If he struggled against UCLA's defense, what makes people think he is going to throw for 300 yards in the NFL? and Texas gets another 1st :D he struggled early, i think he was 0-7 to start. but he finished 21-40, 233, 3 TD He struggled most of the game, even in the second half he was overthrowing passes. Why are the Longhorns cramping? The temps are in the 50s now. Learn to stretch and drink Gatorade, fools.

    Yes, because Texas would never have scored otherwise. If we're playing that game, UCLA beat USC 31-26 in December 2004 at the Rose Bowl.

    Leinart also struggled against the craptacular UCLA defense. The refs are bad for both sides. The replay booths have been embarassing this bowl season. Not even bothering to replay again?

    what else are you going to expect from an announcing booth with Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts? I had no idea who these guys are. I take it they're always this bad? Get used to them if you're moving to Irvine - they're West Coast-based announcers.

    Always time for a first. No Keith Jackson, USC shouldn't have called time because they don't need to. Replay in the bowl games has been ridiculous.

    Meant to respond to this but computer froze. I wholeheartedly agree with this. Kids got a lot of talent, but his mechanics are crap (and yes, they've come a long way).

    You were right on the playcall criticism though. If they really had to go for it on that 4th down, they shoulda sneaked it too. Mack Brown is showing piss poor play calling. AND HOLD ON TO THE STUPID BALL, TEXAS.
