  1. Happy Diwali!!
  2. Wow. Young is average at passing, but killing the other guys on the ground. I didn't know he had that good of stats. I must say I am impressed by his TOTAL stats. I was wrong on that one  Does Olsen get sacked a lot? 4 more sacks than Leinart or Quinn.
  3. Bulls within 11. EDIT: Now 8. 95-87, 3:25 to go.
  4. Vince Young: Passing Yards: 1835 Passing TDs: 16 INTs: 8 Comp %: 63.2 QB Rating: 163.65 Carries: Young: 103, Quinn: 44, Leinart: 29, Olson: 28 Rushing Yards: Young: 725, Quinn: 88, Leinart: 32, Olson: -30 Rushing TDs: Young: 8, Leinart: 3, Olson: 1, Quinn: 1 EDIT: Took out an irrelevant quote.
  5. Hinrich out for the rest of tonight with a "left ankle sprain" and they are unsure of when he'll be back.
  6. QB rating: Quinn - 161.87 Leinart - 166.94 Passing Yards: 2167 Touchdowns: 23 Interceptions: 3 Comp %: 67.3 QB Rating: 165.34 Who is that? That guy in my sig. Drew Olson leads all 3 QBs in TDs, INTs, comp %, leads Quinn in QB rating but is last amongst those 3 in passing yards. And he easily has the worst receiving crew of the bunch.
  7. Ugh, Hinrich hurt.
  8. Forgive me if any of this is wrong - my Spanish is only average and on top of that, Licey's web site has some weird updates: .245/.264/.408/.672 12 K, 2 BB, 1 HBP through 49 ABs
  9. Bulls down 49-33? What the heck? :x Thanks for the heads up, Derwood.
  10. I wouldn't say UCLA vs. Arizona in Tucson is a mismatch. I mean, outside of Oregon State, what Pac 10 game has UCLA actually blown out its opponent? As you can tell, I'm highly nervous of any game at this point and time.
  11. Yeah, that one really came back to bite them when they made the playoffs and Florida didn't. Lo Duca wasn't that great, and he's been downright bad since he went to Florida. The Dodgers, who were likely to make the playoffs even if they did nothing at the deadline, saw their pitching ERAs go through the roof as they went only 16-15 in September and October of that year. They then sleepwalked and lost to the Cardinals in four games. They certainly could have used their emotional leader. And I don't agree with the downright bad characterization, as Lo Duca a better year this past season than he did in 2002 or 2003. So with LoDuca, the Dodgers weren't going to "sleepwalk" against the Cardinals (the best regular season team in 2004)?
  12. Adam Greenberg is hitting .313 and hit his 2nd HR yesterday in Venezeula.
  13. No love for Deryck Lewis. :(
  14. So you're in a fight. And you keep getting punched in the face. Over and over again. You realize their punches don't hurt that much so you continue to ignore them. Well recently this guy's acquired brass knuckles. So now his punches actually have something behind them. Do you continue to take the punches, or knee him in the balls? How are you going about kneeing him in the balls?
  15. Yeah, if the Cubs are going to trade/acquire pitching, I want it to be an innings-eather who has been healthy recently.
  16. In all fairness, should UCLA get too much respect considering they had to come back from down 21 against a team that lost to UC Davis earlier this year? Yes they should, considering they have yet to lose this year.
  17. Woo, moving up to #7. Thank you, Georgia. Still don't like two 1-loss teams ahead of us, but whatever. We aren't going to get any respect unless we are undefeated going into the USC game and beat USC.
  18. And over .500.
  19. Wow, yes!!!
  20. One of these years, the Bears will have a competent QB. Any word on Bradley yet?
  21. Thanks for finding last year's thread, Serena. Can it be accessed by none Premium members? I tried using the same url but just deleting the premium part, but that didn't work. It did for me: viewtopic.php?t=16243&highlight=cubs+zips Thanks, CR. It worked that time. Based on looking at that thread, their projections weren't very accurate last season. I don't know about any other years. And, CR, nice sig. How 'bout them Bruins? You think they're not motivated to go into that USC game undefeated? Oh yeah, they sure are. Gotta beat the two Arizona schools now before the SC game...

  23. Not sure what the def of a groundbreaking player is but Furcal is 27 , switch hitter, a 15 homer , 40 steal guy, with some of the best range at short in the majors to go with a cannon arm at short. I'm not sure if Cedeno's ceiling is anywhere near that high. True, this depends on a definition of a "groundbreaking player" and I don't think either is (or will be) one according to my definition.
  24. I agree, that's where I'd lie - in the middle on this one.
