I'll be in that part of the stadium on Wednesday. I love getting the pavillion seats by the Cubs bullpen, there are so many Cubs fans around (plus the $8/seat is very tempting - it used to be $6 till this year).
-
Psh, I beat you to it already. And I spelled it correctly. :P
-
Hopefully guys like Marshall and Marmol will come in from the pen tomorrow. And we should see one of Dope or Sing start at 1B. :)
-
It would be nice if one of the UNC pitchers, Stubbs, Scherzer or Kennedy fell to the Cubs at 13, but it doesn't look probable right now. Don't know much about the HS kids outside the local ones (Tillman, Rapoport, Stoffel, Parmelee). By the way, a BA projected first round from February had the Cubs taking Georgia Tech 3B Wes Hodges.

Consecutive wins over top-20 teams. :) Beat NC State again out in Raleigh!
-
Apparently when they play the Dodgers, they stay at the Ritz Carlton Huntington in Pasadena.

congrats Raisin. Thanks! :D

Dopirak!

UCLA 75 Stanford 54 Pac-10 champs!
-
I suspect that they'll all play, regardless of who starts. True, but I hope a couple of them start so I can see them play more!!
-
I hope a bunch of the young'ns (Moore, Dope, Sing) are starting and pitching tomorrow since the game is on TV.
-
I'm in as 11Banners.
-
Dope and Moore! It'll be like a WT game!

3/4 WBC: Japan vs Chinese Taipei

But there's a difference between China and Taiwan's playing ability and Cuba's, whether they have major league players or not. -
UCLA plays at Stanford and Washington at Arizona. If either UCLA or Arizona wins, UCLA wins the Pac-10 outright. If UCLA loses and Washington wins, the two schools tie for first place. Also, USC plays at Cal. Maybe Tim Floyd will get into a fight with the security guards in Berkeley too.

Got tix for Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday's I got through someone with season tickets for the Dodgers, so I'm not sure where it is. Wednesday, I'm in the pavillion. I can't go on Monday, nor am I going to go down to San Diego.

You're probably right. It's a unique situation because of the 2 teams in 1 city thing. I still think that once you take out the hard core Cub fan, most people in the city like him. My Mom is a good example. She loves her Cubbies but still likes Ozzie because he brought a champion to the city. My Dad is a hard core Cub fan (you'd like him) and he can't stand Ozzie. How the heck did you become a Cards fan? -
Individual tickets go on sale today at 10 am PST. The Cubs are in LA Monday, April 17 - Wednesday, April 19. Anyone getting tix?

My goodness, Daisuke Matsuzaka has some filthy stuff. I wouldn't mind him being a Cub in 2007. Yeah, that was strange. -
Consecutive wins over top-20 teams. :)
-
In. UCLA fan.
-
Ok, so Sing started. Great game for him! 2 BBs from Marmol is disappointing, but he, along with Aardsma, Brownlie and Piggy maintained their 0.00 ERAs.

I'd be much more worried if it was the plant knee. I agree. -
