Every Bears player will have a triple digit number this year, in celebration of their 100th anniversary. This does not sound like a one game thing, all 16 games. This is gonna be weird. Edit-nevermind I'm an idiot, happy April Fools (in my defense I had seen something about a major uniform announcement coming up like a week ago, so these losers set up their April Folls joke by like a week.)

I'm okay going all meatbally on this and say that a mid-season trade for a draft pick is a locker room killer. If you held onto him it was to keep him all season and maybe get the 2021 draft comp. Wish it would have been for more, but that probably wasn't realistic.

Sounds like Ted Larson is back with the Bears. Should be a solid interior backup. Still bringing in a Witzman type as additional depth would be good too. Feels like they'll mostly use all the cap clearing to spread around depth holes. I'm counting basically 10 53 man spots they still need to cover. They have 5 draft picks to fill those needs, plus whatever veteran or rookie FAs they can bring in.

I don't know if that's true re: draft picks. It's based on some combining total net FA losses and their relative impact. If you sign several more than you lose the credits can outweigh the debits, even if the ones you lost were more impactful.
