  1. But Ben Gordon wasn't very good at driving or dribbling. But yea, I remember that too.
  2. I thought that it made my comment more badass. It wasn't awful.

  5. Yea, guy!
  6. It's fair because although the Bulls have improved, I refuse to believe that they are THAT much better than they were last year. And even if they were, Orlando has been so much better the past few years that it would simply just narrow the gap. And I do agree that the gap has been narrowed significantly. Seems contradictory. Anyway, as for the first part, then you refuse to believe the truth. They were also better last year than their record said. They had a legit shot at 50 wins in February when they got hit hard by injuries (all of Rose, Noah, and Deng out together at one point) and hit a long losing streak.
  7. Especially with 60% roster turnover and going from the worst coach in the league to a good, perhaps great, one (although the Bulls did beat Orlando once last year and blew them out once the year before, IIRC)
  8. I'd rather he take a couple games off and get a week long rest.
  9. Exactly. This is a scenario where if the Cubs really wanted someone like Webb or Garza, they should have done everything possible to complete the deal quickly. I don't know why Hendry was fooling around, especially with Webb. He has to have medical records and input from doctors at this point. Either [expletive] or get off the pot. Now, if we do sign him, it's going to cost a hell of a lot more. How will we know when he's off the pot? Is he going to hold a press conference to let the world know we're not signing Brandon Webb?
  10. You must not have been paying attention to the rest of the season if you think Bulls fans are just getting excited as a result of a 6-game winning streak. The west coast road trip without Boozer, playing reasonably well on the road in all but one game, the only real trouble the Bulls were having early on was in winning handily, and now they've done that the last 2 games. I don't think you have any clue just how difficult the first 21 games of the Bulls schedule were. Yup. Hardest schedule in the league, pretty easily, even after 3 of our last 4 games have been against Cleveland, Minnesota, and Indiana.
  11. And it's a good thing, what with him being such a marksman from the line. If the entire NBA wasn't so busy inadvertantly attacking him, maybe he'd be healthy enough to hit his free throws. rofl

  13. 107-78. In Chicago. On Boozer's first game back. But yes, I'm sure Orlando is 30 points a game better than Chicago at all times, and there is no chance the Bulls could finish higher in the East. I'm sure a full game of Carlos Boozer makes a 30 point difference. I'm sure a one game sample size means everything.

  16. Stole this from coldfish at RealGM  I knew that the rest of our schedule set up well for us to rack up the wins, but seeing it tallied up like this is pretty sweet.
  17. shhhh let me troll erik the cubs are awful at everything

  21. Didn't think so. I know they had that one proposal that fell through in the last couple of years.
  22. They're getting a new stadium? I know the Marlins are...
  23. Are the Rays this era's mid-90's Indians? I loved those teams.
  24. I'm honestly not sure which I'd rather have... great management but horribly limited resources (not to mention that crap park) or mediocre to poor management and really good resources (even now - unless payroll drops a ton after these contracts go off the books). It's close, but I think it's the latter.
