He's taking more 3s than ever and sort of ignoring the midrange game that worked so well for him last season. i'm no expert, but i'm guessing his 3's at near 40% are a much more efficient way of scoring than his pretty decent midrange game that said, it's probably somewhat related to the wrist injury and just him being tired... also what IMB said

Wow. That's an incredible stat. Or.... the biggest factor in the outcome of the game was that the defensive line was all over the place causing several holding penalties and false starts. I was at that game and somewhat inebriated. Just how many of those were holds and false starts? That was the game Cutler had an INT or two wiped out by penalties on the late drive.

Pretty sure we'll put the forfeit lineup out there on Sunday... We'll know by game time if the faint hopes for the #1 seed are alive or not. If they are, we'll also be working on getting the Bucs into the playoffs.

Only even remotely relevant thing I can think of is that Thome grew up a Cubs fan and always wanted to play here. I remember this from all the talk when he first went into free agency however many years ago. But yea, makes no sense. -
Ryan Dempster isn't even funny. Not even a little. Neither is his impression of Will Ferrell doing Harry Caray. If his pitching ability was on par with his comedic arsenal, he'd be Shawn Estes.

#2 seemed a lot more likely before Kitna went down. Some guy named Stephen McGee will not lead Dallas to a road win in Philly, although I'll admit he didn't look too bad last night. Just like Matt Flynn wouldn't have a prayer in Gilette or Drew Stanton was doomed against the Bears. Or Webb...oh wait, nevermind on that one.

Swirsky is awesome. A Swirsky/Stacey tandem on TV would be epic. Funk could go back to doing radio with nobody noticing his awful mistakes. People would think he's good again.

Meatheadedness defined. Cutler's teams always underperform. Yea, because everyone predicted the Bears to win the North this year. The best part is that torching the Jets on Sunday would elevate him to franchise qb status.

Same. I thought the people predicting 4-5 wins were bordering on insane. Add Peppers, Urlacher, Martz and get worse? Sure, in the NFL anything is possible, but I would've bet a good amount of money on over 8 wins. Saw anywhere between 9-11 wins as reasonable.

I could see Philly losing to the Cowboys. It's not like the Eagles are some juggernaut. They were very lucky (and so were we) to beat the Giants. The Vikings, not so much... unless AP comes back and has some monster game.

Yes, you can. Helmet to helmet is helmet to helmet... not helmet to helmet when players are of similar height and field conditions are good
