  1. I got to see 2 of the 3 we played there last season. The park is every bit as great as it is hyped up to be.
  2. Has this game reached 2x as long as last night's game yet?
  3. Thats weak AF nah, the public will be all over the cubs so i should get pretty favorable odds on the crapshoot and i'll be happy either way... that's not weak, that's hedging my emotions Thats actually pretty genius and I'll probably join you in that.
  4. Yeah, he scores easy on that ball. Easy send. Thanks, Brewers.
  5. Although technically it didn't score until there were two outs in the 9th again.
  6. uhhhhhh that's definitely the right decision. That bunt, though....that bunt was not the right decision.
  7. 99.99% certain the comeback in the 9th was against the Cards. Somebody posting a highlight of the geo bomb from that game would be just splendid. Geo bomb was for sure against the Brewers. So, yeah, it was http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN200809180.shtml http://m.mlb.com/video/v3503832/soto-delivers-a-mammoth-threerun-blast-in-the-ninth Funny, I vividly remembered everything from the Soto bomb to the Lee walkoff, but every bit of it was against the Cards in my head.
  8. It was 5-1 wasn't it? I remember a Geo 3 run HR to tie it and a DLee single to win it in like the 12th That's the one. You might be right about 5-1. 99.99% certain the comeback in the 9th was against the Cards. Somebody posting a highlight of the geo bomb from that game would be just splendid.
  9. Would Lucroy be a big enough upgrade to justify cutting Montero's salary? I don't really think so.
  10. I think you could talk Larussa into managing the all-hate team.
  11. Darvish is like 6 months younger than Arrieta. Whaaaaat? I thought he was like 3 years younger. Well hell.
  12. Soler was my favorite of the prospects until recently. I want him to be awesome so badly. He just....looks like he should be awesome. I really want him sent to Iowa. Bring him back up in mid-june, the weather will be warmer and he will have had consistent at bats to work out his issues. This not playing much and sucking when he does has gotta be hard on him.
  13. I'd give Jake 5/130, take it or leave it. He'd leave it, and then I'd sign Yu Darvish. Oh, and my money is on the Dodgers or Yankees signing him. Lets go with Dodgers.
  14. Apparently we only lose to bad teams, so thats good news for the playoffs, right?
  15. It could have been Bryce harper and there's a 60% chance of not scoring. Why are you so shocked? Cuz we're the Cubs and we got a walk, HBP and an error in the same inning and usually that leads to a big inning for us. That part of it really had nothing to do with Soler. He's just been frustrating as hell so I threw that in there.
  16. I'm legit shocked we didn't score there. Freakin Soler is a prime candidate for some Iowa time. I hope we don't get swept in a DH by the freakin Padres.
  17. What an exciting night the Cards had last night. Didn't lose any ground to us, and gained on the Pirates. I'm happy for them, maybe this will energize their team a little bit.
  18. Meh, he's frustrated after four rough losses and learning that his team isn't as good as everybody thought they were. Even he probably realizes that it was a dumb thing to say. I'm just glad he opened the door for that Zimmerman slam by Law, reading that improved my night.
  19. And you'll still find a way to make the same mistake tomorrow
  20. Huh, I just kind of assumed that was a hit off the bat.
  21. Regardless of the outcome of today's game, I find myself not scared of the Nationals any more. Dusty is terrible, Harper can be walked, and most of their starters should be Dusty'd by October. That brings the list of teams I'm scared of this season down to the Pirates and Mets, and theres a chance that the Pirates get aced out of the wildcard game again, and that the Mets miss the playoffs entirely.
