I like this move just fine, the more i think about it. Hendricks, Lester, montgomery, and strop if necessary can get us into the 8th tomorrow. Chapman can get us 5 outs tomorrow. -

The Cubs have to win 2 games that they are heavily favored to win, followed by 1 toss up where we'll have the better team and a possibly Cy Young winner going against a tired pitching staff with "choke" story lines doing their circulation. It actually sounds kind of easy. Go Cubs.

i would guess only even 3/4ths of this site's audience even knows what you are talking about, which goes to show how messed up sports media is. On this site? Pretty sure most people here remember the agon error. We're easily the least terrible faction of Cubs fans on the internet. Go to another site, probably the majority of them don't know anybody named AGon ever played for us.

Is the general consensus here that Adrian Gonzalez was safe at the plate last night? All of the shows ive watched, the commentators are stating pretty matter-of-factly that he was safe. I didnt see it that way, looked to me especially from the lower camera angle that his hand didnt touch the plate until after the tag. I certainly did not see concrete proof that he was safe. Im usually pretty good at separating my bias from this, and i would have been pretty upset if that call had been overturned.

I actually had a $50 bet with a friend with a 102.5 over/under. I can't collect on the bet either way, but I hope to get to 103 just so I can say I won.
