    P.S. I can't watch this game because apparently Dish and whatever cable provider this hotel is using are currently boycotting Fox over a pricing dispute. I have to assume that Fox is in the wrong here, because they're Fox and they've been assholes for as long as I can remember. F you, Fox.

    the mets are probably even money to make the playoffs. Yeah, but that comment probably really irritated the few Mets fans that came here to witness our reaction to the loss. Worth it. Was ross really the only PR option left? I didbt realize that. It really irritated me that the damn pitcher we had PRing didnt score on the double by Zobrist, but i guess if thats true then its a moot point.

    Meh, who cares. Not like the Mets are gonna make the playoffs. i wish Heyward or somebody had pinch run instead of Wood. If so, games tied right now. :/

    what kind of coward talk is this "the back end of our rotation" oh you mean all those guys with ERA's under 3 and who baffle and confound opposing hitters? Meh, I still think we can sweep, I just don't expect it like I did against the Phils and Braves.

    Going through the teeth of their rotation, against the back end of ours, and you know theyve been looking forward to this series. Honestly, I'll be happy if we can get 1 win this series. With that said, lets sweep these bums.

    I like it better now that the isolation game is becoming out dated. I watch the finals, and sometimes i watch the conference championships. I find the regular season kinda pointless because more than half the teams make the playoffs. Needs reduced to 8-10 teams. I dont usually watch the first round(s) of the playoffs because its usually great teams beating up on teams that have no business in the playoffs. I know thats a weak argument, but basketball is a distant 3rd on my list of favorite sports, so it just doesnt draw me in until late in the playoffs.

    There are plenty of plastic packages that are awkward and nigh impossible to open, leading to cuts and gouges. Of course you just have to be smart enough to not use a knife to open them, but not everyone is. If it was just a basic box, I have no idea how that happens. I almost cut my hand badly opening a big bubba filet knife from its plastic. Those knives are sharp as hell, i tugged a bit harder than i thought i did and it came right out of the packaging and missed my hand by an eyelash. Made me feel like a moron, but i suppose thats better than i would have felt if it connected.

    The Dodgers are, at the very least, an above average team. This time, I will be happy with a sweep and only a +2 RD per game.

    Holy crap, Len just said Ryan Howard has a TEN million dollar buyout for next season. 10 freakin million. O_O

    I have a crazy knack for walking away from the TV just before a Cubs homer. Happened for both Soler and Ross. I will keep this in mind for when we really need one.

    Hard to feel real confident going into this game. But, its baseball so that probably means Cubs will win 10-4.
