  2. I was bored/curious enough to see how things had been going for him recently, so I went through Gameday to see what August looks like for Baez. I can't guarantee these are 100% accurate(I'm not that bored/curious), but should be pretty close. 8-8: 7 for 7 8-7: 9 for 10 8-6: 5 for 6 8-5: 5 for 8 8-4: 6 for 7 8-3: 9 for 10 8-2: 6 for 10 8-1: 8 for 13 Total: 56 for 71, 78.8% Keep it up Javy :) I know the stablizing point for K rate is a relatively low number of at bats, somewhere around 75 if memory serves... Anyone know if contact rate stablizes as quickly, since they're so closely linked?
  3. Is that better or worse than calling it a wife-beater?
  4. Haha... Noah.
  5. Seriously though, Wrigley fans would [expletive] those things up in no time (and anyone in them). So keep a large number of them in a few strategic areas and hire an additional staff of maintenance and security personnel to keep things running properly. It's not like an all-day every-day music festival kind of a situation, we're talking about 80ish 3 or 4 hour long periods of time. That should be doable and a better option than leaving paying customers to either piss into cups in plain sight or miss an entire inning whilst waiting in the bathroom line.

  7. If true seems like a pretty easy fix... Move in some port-a-potties until the facilities are fully up and running.
  8. ingram for sure of the other two, i lean jennings but am biased because i have him and need him to not suck this weekend. Definitely Ingram. I think I'd go with Gore, actually, simply because the NYG defense is laughably bad against the run and I think SF is going to recommit to the run more than they have. But, Jennings is really, really, close IMO. Yeah, I'm leaning Gore... It's Jennings 1st week back, and from what I understand he's not quite 100 percent yet. Also, these 2 teams are playing each other, and I think SF has a better chance of controlling the game than NYG.
  9. Pick 2 of: Mark Ingram vs CIN Rashad Jennings vs SFO Frank Gore vs NYG League is ppr, not that that really matters with these 3. Really a decision of whether to start Gore or Jennings as RB2 after Ingram.
  10. 10 team PPR one flex - no keeper. Picked 7th. QB: Peyton Manning QB: RG3 RB: Toby Gerhart RB: Chris Johnson RB: Frank Gore WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: Michael Floyd WR: TY Hilton WR: Terrance Williams WR: Justin Hunter TE: Julius Thomas TE: Heath Miller D: Indy K: Gostkowki Normally not a fan of putting all my eggs in one basket, but I figure it'd be interesting to do so with hopefully a repeat of the most prolific passing offense in the history of mankind. RB is obviously weak, and I had to leave the draft 2 rounds early so it aurodrafted a second K and D that I didn't list above. Will be looking for early season waiver RB adds to clear those duplicates. Should be fun. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

  12. The play can be reviewed by the booth, but not challenged by a coach. Kelly threw the red flag resulting in a loss of the time out and no review as a penalty.
  13. When are the cubs broadcasting deals up, again?
  14. Well that was a depressing half...
  15. All the original 30 for 30s will be available via Netflix instant pretty soon, too... Nice. Missed way too many of them.
  16. Is the PBP guy pronouncing his first name right? jay-mer? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  17. A did you know: Clark's boss is Bill Murray's brother. If you combined those two without knowing, that's some impressive stuff. I'm pretty sure I've heard that, but was not thinking of it when making that comparison. So Bosio is the missing Murray brother then, that rolls off the tongue easier. Brian Doyle Murray he was in vacation as well, at the campground. "we like to send out a mailer" Also... He blows goats. I have proof. Maybe he can help with the curse?
  18. I think its time to put the offense completely in Jay's hands. The incoming OC should set general philosophy and playbook, send in a base package with play options, and then give Cutler the freedom to set the play and audible/adjust at will based on defensive reads. Its one of the key reasons Manning, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers are so effective, and Cutler hasn't been allowed to tweak or change a thing on a single playcall during the past 2 years. If Tice is cool with that, I'm cool with him.
  19. When Granger was asked whether the Pacers would feel safe with any lead... LOL
  20. I'd go with Henne too... that game has shoot out written all over it. My dilemma: Kitna vs Jac Fitzpatrick @ KC Romo and his stupid collarbone have me scrambling, but I've got Vick coming back after this week (thank god). This seems like a toss up to me... Fitzpatrick has looked REALLY good the past few games, but the rest of his career has been mediocre at best. While Kitna is nothing to write home about, he's surrounded by playmakers, has shown in the past that he can put up points under the right circumstances, and is playing at home against the worst pass defense in the league. Thoughts?
  21. Lets just hope that Alex Barron is still subbing for Marc Columbo next Sunday... I thought our tackles had issues, but my god.
  22. Omar Infante will blow everyone else in the NL away IF he ends up with enough at-bats to qualify. He's currently at .347 in only 326 AB, but he will be playing everyday for the rest of the season with Chipper out.
  23. I've never been a big believer in the day games being a disadvantage, and I've never really been big on a player being "clutch". Having said that, I would be curious to see the day/night, home/road, and indoor/outdoor splits of that analysis. I doubt you'd find any kind of discernible pattern league-wide across the splits.
