If anything, the way things are setting up there are more options for QB than most years. I think Philip Rivers, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Marcus Mariota, Nick Foles, Teddy Bridgewater and Eli Manning could all realistically be had. In some cases we probably don’t have the resources or cap space, and in other cases like Eli especially it’s likely not an upgrade. But the fact is there are a lot of potential QBs that should be available if you want to give up on Mitch or at least challenge him. If QB was your only need to get to the Superbowl and it was glaring, I'd think Rivers, Manning or Newton were maybe options, but they're all more likely to regress than rebound... Especially since none of them have a lot of experience in the Reid/Nagy style playbook. Dalton and Mariota have shown even less promise than Trubisky of late. Foles and Bridgewater are somewhat intriguing, and I wouldn't mind either of them as backups/competition but not flat out replacements... And you'd still have to fix the OL/TE to give either of them a legit chance
