  1. Jones and Hudson could also work in lieu of Cabrera and Willis, although that may get a bit dicey financially.
  2. Card Baseball, the board game I wish I could find a picture.
  3. That was tough loss for you guys yesterday. I watched some of that and I underestimated kU. It's gonna be a battle in Columbia this year. So you think Mizzou will beat them? I hope so, but their running back scares me a little bit. It's gonna be much different facing this team than Texas Tech. I don't think it'll be much of a battle in CoMo this year. We turn the ball over, and we have trouble stopping the pass. Not a good recipe against you guys. I'm very depressed about this team. We should be 6-0, and we're 3-3. I'mm really starting to wonder if Mangino's the guy. I think tech is a better team than aTm, and you guys handed it to them. We moved the ball fairly well through the air against aTm w/ our back-up qb. Daniels will have a field day against them. As long as your run defense shows up, I don't see aTm as being a problem. If it's a road game, that MIGHT equalize a bit, but from what I've seen, you guys look pretty good. I think OU is the only team on your schedule with a good shot of beating you, unless you play UT, too. Oh, you guys will pants Nebraska big-time. Please stop telling us that we're good. It worries me for some reason. The aTm game is in College Station. I'm worried about how we handle Lane+Lewis+McGee, but on the plus side Ziggy Hood will probably be back for that game(he broke his foot against UNM) to help as a run stopper. I agree about OU being the best team left on the schedule, although winning in Lincoln will be a tough task, and we won't play UT unless it's in KC for the BXII Championship.
  4. Remember, rooting for the Tigers means rooting for Neifi. A's over Mets plz
  5. McNabb and Jacksonville's D both come up big. By my count now I'm up by 35 with Parker still to go and Heap + SD Defense to go for Tobias.
  6. And as usual they're on crack. What do you see is wrong with it? Just curious. Cal #6 is a joke. Missouri in the top 10 is ridiculous. No way does Mizzou play a Louisville, Notre Dame, Auburn, etc and beat them. No disrespect to Mizzou, but they've played a soft schedule to get to 6-0. Play Oklahoma or Texas and beat them and then we can talk. (Michigan behind Tennesse is also a mistake, but not a huge one.) I don't disagree that Mizzou doesn't belong in the top 10, but apply the same logic to the other teams. Who has Louisville, USC, West Virginia, LSU, Clemson, Iowa, or Georgia beaten? Edited out Notre Dame because I have a bad memory.
  7. Cause and Effect Dusty abuses Prior and Wood to oblivion, and wonder of wonders they can't stay healthy.
  8. I <3 baseless accusations
  9. I don't see how you can put Tennessee over Michigan. I understand dropping USC, Louisville, and WVU. I understand that Tennesse lost by one to Florida but the game was at home but they've played Cal and Georgia as well. Michigan hasn't really been tested yet but they did stomp Notre Dame. Interesting poll though. To be fair, they prefaced the poll with this: "You must rank teams based on how good you believe they are at the moment. That's the point when it comes to putting the teams in some order. However, once the year is complete, it's only fair to take the subjectivity out of it and go by what actually happened on the field."
  10. wow, college football news updated their poll 1. Ohio State (6-0) 2. Florida (6-0) 3. Tennessee (5-1) 4. Michigan (6-0) 5. Texas (5-1) 6. California (5-1) 7. USC (5-0) 8. Missouri (6-0) 9. Louisville (5-0) 10. Notre Dame (5-1)
  11. Looks like I'm up 1 + however many points I'd get if Jacksonville keeps the shutout. And Bledsoe is a selfish idiot, taking points away from Julius and TO like that.
  12. You've got to be kidding me.
  13. What are the odds Herbstreit picks Missouri to lose again? Yesterday he said he needed to see Mizzou win to show him they were for real, so I wouldn't be surprised if he went with them this week. I don't blame him for the last two weeks, Colorado was a classic trap game, and we were road underdogs yesterday.
  14. This Dallas-Philly game needs more points, lots more points. This whole having 2 combined points from McNabb-TO-Julius isn't gonna cut it.
  15. I'm not exactly surprised you hear this stuff before me (or apparently ESPN.com), but where do you hear it? Mizzou's sports website, specifically through an RSS feed for the top stories. Tomorrow we find out what the time and TV is for the homecoming game next weekend.
  16. The Mizzou-aTm game is at 2:30 CST, and will be on ABC. I'm excited, is it Saturday yet?
  17. Color me aggravated Mizzou didn't move up more, especially past Nebraska. And Mark Richt must have incriminating pictures of somebody. I'd put both Techs and maybe LSU over UGA.
  18. Z-O-U! The homecoming crowd will be absolutely insane if we beat aTm.
  19. A stat that was skewed because of their two blowout wins in back to back days. How many runs did the "best lineup ever" score in the last two games of the series? Great pitching, most of the time, beats great hitting. This series proved that fact. Well if that's the case then if you take out the last 2 games of the series, the Yankees averaged nearly 6 runs a game. 4 games proves nothing, especially the above which is far, far from a fact.
  20. The Tigers scored nearly 6 runs per game in the series.
  21. Buck and McCarver are making my ears bleed, back to football for me.
  22. How is Bochy with handling starters? Does he overwork Peavy?
